Cabin was super cozy and perfect for a couples getaway! We had an amazing time. It was very clean, the hot tub was the perfect temp, and check-in and check-out was incredibly easy. Also loved how close we were to quite a few of the trails - only 10 minutes for most of them, and the first 5 were just getting back to a main road. We will absolutely be staying here again in the future.

Thank you for the positive review! We're glad to hear that you found the accommodations neat, tidy, and comfortable, with the air conditioning running for your arrival. And it's wonderful that you were able to enjoy the hot tub during your stay. We appreciate your feedback and look forward to welcoming you back again in the future.
Great stay at this property and will likely be returning in the future. The cabin and staff were great and the location was perfect. The pool and hot tub were in great condition and there are additional sauna pods you can rent for a fee. The only surprise was the lack of kitchen supplies. I cook a ton and brought everything I needed, but the only things provided by the property (aside from cookware) were salt and pepper. If you are planning on using the kitchen, bring any essentials you may need. You will also need to bring your own grilling supplies for the charcoal grills.

Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We're thrilled you enjoyed your stay and appreciated our team and amenities. We're delighted the cabin, pool, and hot tub met your expectations. We really appreciate your feedback about kitchen supplies. You're right that we keep basics minimal, but your note is helpful for future guests who plan to cook. We'd love to welcome you back soon!

This A-frame cabin was SO charming! So unique and cozy - just watch your head inside when walking around near the outer walls! We would have preferred a few extra amenities, such as firewood provided (though guests are made aware that they should bring their own if desired), a hair dryer in the bathroom, a scrub brush at the kitchen sink, and perhaps a larger fridge. But those were not detriments to our stay - we enjoyed ourselves very much! Our favorite feature, other than the unique architecture of the A-frame, was the private hot tub that faced the woods. Such a peaceful, tranquil spot that we'll never forget, and we can't wait to return!
The cabin was amazing, however once we got there we realized that the charcoal grill had rusted and broken off the post had jagged edges and snagged my wife and myself a few times walking by it while walking the dog.we had a propane grill in its place, not the end of the world but we love our charcoal. , secondly we were pretty bummed to find out that we didnt have our own little spot to have a fire outside which that really bummed the kids out. While the hot tub area was pretty private we could still see our neighbors on either side in their hot tubs. Parking was good but the signage was a little difficutl to see at night. overall my wife and i plan on returning for more stays but may choose a different cabin

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed the cabin. We'll address the grill and fire pit issues. We're sorry for the inconvenience with the grill and lack of a private fire spot. We'll improve signage for better visibility at night. We appreciate your understanding and hope to see you again.
The house has an overwhelming musty/dirty smell. It looked clean, but the carpet also has an odor/ spots. We only had 4 towels and 2 wash clothes with no extras, we didnt have hand towels. We ended up leaving a night early.
We absolutely loved this cabin. It's glamping at it's finest. We loved having the charcoal grill and wood burning fireplace. The open, loft-style main room was so cozy and perfect, and the furniture and bed pillows were all comfortable. There was just one set of bathtowels for 4, so be sure to bring your beachtowels if you plan to take advantage of the hottub for those tired muscles after a day of hiking. The hottub was such a great bonus, and the fold down side covers were so convenient. It had ambient, switched lighting around the deck and side walls for a more private feel. We would definitely stay again!!! The only trouble we had was waiting for our access instructions. We were already in the area hiking with limited cell service when they finally sent instructions, by text message, about 1 hour before check-in, instead of 3 days before like the site says. They had a number you could call for help, however, and they were very responsive.

Thank you for your detailed and thoughtful review. We appreciate your feedback and are glad to hear that you thoroughly enjoyed your stay at our cabin. The amenities you mentioned, such as the charcoal grill, wood-burning fireplace, and hot tub, seem to have provided a wonderful glamping experience. We will certainly look into the issue with the check-in instructions and work to improve our communication process. Your feedback is valuable, and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future.
Went here with my wife and some friends for a weekend trip for my wife’s birthday. Cabin was great and in a perfect location. Only thing I would add would be a dehumidifier, it was a bit musty inside. We had a great time and would stay here again
Great location, clean grounds, perfect size cabin. My only complaint is the cabin smelled absolutely awful, we bought air freshners to help with the smell and the carpet in the bedroom felt gross on my feet. Housekeeping didn't service our cabin on any days during our stay, is that normal?
Maybe a quick carpet cleaning between guests would help? Especially if previous guest have had pets there.

Too expensive for too little
Overall the chalet was nice. The air conditioning was on the whole time yet it felt very humid inside. The lack of paper products (paper towels, kleenex) didn't help either. Couldn't sit outside at all due to the vast array of bugs. Had to travel miles to get to Logan to do anything other than hiking. We ended up leaving a day early due to boredom. If you are looking for lots of activity and things to do other than trails, I definitely wouldn't recommend this place. We won't be back.
We enjoyed our stay. It was nice to be able to use the pool during the hot afternoons while the parks were crowded. The only downfall was the internet access was slow, but with the service in the area, I am not sure what can be done about that.
We loved this property. It was clean and nice. Beautiful wooded setting from the back deck. Close to the areas we wanted to visit and hike. Will definitely stay here again!
Place is clean, but there are issues with wifi (basically, they don't have wifi), phone (1 bar, anywhere you go with ATT and T-Mobile). The heat is VERY noisy. The worst problem is the lights which are, for the most part, these white fluorescent horrors. That is the only light in the bedrooms. The sockets are way far from the bed, so you can't charge your phone or computer while you sleep. They charged us about $300 per night, off season. I think this is a $100 a night place.
This weekend I stayed at the Chalet A frames and had a wonderful time in Hocking Hills. Perfect size (it is larger then I expected), great beds, and both the adults and tweens loved the hot tub. Kitchen is small but adequate... we ate in all meals. Just remember to bring your own towels... and enjoy!!
The chalet was small but just the perfect size for the 2 of us. Very comfortable. Loved the deck & hot tub. The other chalets are quite close, but it was very quiet during our stay. Very conveniently located to the parks.
