About this property

Sea View Apartment with Pool, BBQ, Los Geraniums

The apartment is just a 7 min. walk from the beach and the beginning of the small beaches, restaurants and bars. There are many small, historic towns and villages in the area, many of which still have buildings dating back to the medieval period. Some of these towns are Pals (5 minutes drive) and Begur (8-10 minutes drive), Peratallada o Monells. All of the local villages have restaurants of all tastes and prices as well as local shops. There is a supermarket within walking distance and a further one nearby.

The apartment is one out of two, Situated within a private house, you don't have to worry about sharing the pool and bar with masses of people and, in fact, the secluded area of town makes this an extremely peaceful place to stay. You also have access to your own fully furnished kitchen, bathroom and living room. The apartment is 5 minutes walk to the beach and local bars/restaurants. From Easter on the little supermarkets, reachable in 3-7 min by feet, are open until October/November.
On top of this, the historic centre of Pals and Begur are very close. With a tennis club, diving schools and plenty of golf courses nearby, the location suites even the most active of people whilst still catering for those of us who just want to relax!

The city of Girona is 45 minutes, and the train to Barcelona/Madrid (from Flaça) is 25 minutes away. The closest beach is literally 5 minutes walk away. This beautiful, sandy beach is contained in a 10km long bay from L'Estartit to Pals. Right at the beginning of the beach you can reach a walkway on the rocks – towards Sa Riera – a 15 min walk. The beaches of Tamariu, LaFranc, Sa Tuna and Sa Riera are within 15 minutes drive

The kitchen is fully-fitted with an oven, hob and microwave as well as standard appliances such as a coffee machine/toaster/kettle etc. Fridge, freezer and washing machine also fitted.

Het is een heerlijk appartement om te huren. De tuin is erg mooi en onze kinderen (12 en 14 jaar) konden lekker zwemmen en tafeltennissen. De eigenaar is super vriendelijk en heel behulpzaam. Wij mochten zelfs (tegen betaling) een dagje mee varen op zijn luxe boot. Dit was heel erg leuk. Binnen 8 min.loop je naar het strand en binnen 6 min. loop je naar de supermarkt. Parkeren is gratis en er is genoeg in de omgeving te doen. Als wij nogmaals naar Pals gaan dan komen wij hier zeker terug.

Checking war sehr einfach. Schön eingerichtete Wohnung. Koche top ausgestattet. Sogar Gewürze,Öl tee

Tolle Gegend, ruhige Lage. Sehr nette Nachbarin und Besitzer im Haus. Sehr schöner Pool. Wir konnten den schönen grillen am Pool mitbenutzen. Die Wohnung war nachts etwas zu warm. Ansonsten alles top!!

Heerlijke vakantie gehad. Mooi groot huis op goede locatie niet ver van strand. Laatste stukje wel stijl omhoog maar voor ons was dat geen probleem. Aardige eigenaar van het huis dus zeker een aanrader om vaker naar toe te gaan.

Mooie locatie met heerlijk zwembad

Heerlijk verblijf gehad! Veel privacy en het zwembad zo goed als helemaal voor jezelf. De kinderen van de eigenaar hebben er af en toe gebruik van gemaakt, maar dat was absoluut niet vervelend. Naast het zwembad een mooie hoek om te zitten met BBQ. Het appartement ligt op ongeveer 10 minuten lopen van het strand. Eigenaar is echt ontzettend vriendelijk en staat altijd voor je klaar. Het appartement is ruim, maar wel behoorlijk warm. Het is moeilijk om het door te laten waaien. Gelukkig hadden we een paar ventilatoren.

Net appartement met heerlijk zwembad

Ruim appartement met goede bedden, alles aanwezig in de keuken. Wel warm in het appartement, kon het niet goed doorluchten en er was geen airco, vonden wij een gemis. Wel ventilatoren aanwezig. Flinke klim van strand naar appartement. Kevyn bedankt voor de gastvrijheid en wellicht tot de volgende keer!

Accueil bien agréable, Gîte assez grand pour 3/4 personnes Il est bien complèt ( ustensiles cuisine..four,micro onde...) L'espace autour piscine est plaisant car plusieurs petits endroits pour se reposer..lire au calme (si d'autres personnes de l'autre appartement sont présents) Magasins et plage faisablent à pied ( mais courage pour revenir de la mer car ça monte fort..)

Nice Area but...

The hosting - minimal from start to finish. Arrived in the dark, no outside lights to help find the property down steps. The bathroom was clean but mould on ceiling and grouting. Pool area was ok but cleaning stuff left in the pool each time. A random pair of boxer shorts also just left lying in the garden and just lots of “stuff” lying about that could have been easily tidied away to present a nicer outside area. We were not told that there was another rental of theirs right next door who we could hear through a flimsy dividing door and see walking past so we were sharing the outside area and pool. The fans didn’t work very well. Kitchen area and lounge was nice and quite well equipped for self catering. The area of Platja de Pals is really lovely and a good base with awesome beaches nearby and lovely Girona. Overall a good holiday base but a disappointment on accommodation which could be easily rectified with some tweaks and a bit of care and attention.

Great apartment in quiet location, but close to beaches and restaurants

We loved our stay. The apartment was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Fabulous terraces around the pool to eat and drink and it felt like we had our own private pool! Great host who made excellent recommendations. Location is quiet, but only a short drive from some of the best bays (awesome snorkling, kayaking and sub bathing!) and Begur. Make sure you go exploring!!

Maison au calme et pleine de charme - Bien équipée et propre

La maison est conforme à l'annonce, il faut juste bien intégrer que la terrasse sous la voute est juste devant l'entrée des 2 appartements et qu'il faut donc espérer que le mode de vie (horaires, discrétion) des 2 locataires s'accorde bien.
