Located in the heart of the city of Coimbra, next to the UNESCO World Heritage “University of Coimbra - Alta and Sofia” Ah33 - Studios are an excellent starting point to enjoy the best that Coimbra has to offer: the University, the Botanical Garden , the Machado de Castro National Museum, the Sé Velha and the Alta de Coimbra are right next door.

Ah33-Studios are integrated in a century-old house, completely remodeled in early 2016, full of architectural details, with high plaster ceilings, wooden elements, stone stonework, tiles and colorful walls to imitate. marble.

Each bright studio has a living room, bedroom with a private bathroom with wooden floors, kitchen / kitchenette with induction hob, microwave, fridge, kitchen utensils and crockery.
Ah33 - Studios has cable TV, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning in all studios.

The AH33-Studios are integrated in a building from early twentieth century, completely restored in early 2016, full of architectural details which features high ceilings worked plaster, wood elements, stone brickwork, tiles and painted walls imitating marble.

Each bright studio has a living room and a bedroom with private bathroom with hardwood floors, kitchen / kitchenette with induction hob, microwave, fridge, kitchen utensils and dinnerware.

Excellent location, wonderful host!

Would highly recommend this place! Eduardo and family were amazing hosts. From ensuring you feel at home, to guiding you on your journey in Coimbra and having fresh bread for breakfast! My family and I were very happy and would definitely come back again in the future.

Very nice place to stay

Nice place, near to old town and river but quiet and silence in the night. Very clean and host super. Every morning a Plantum of fresh bread and a lot of stuff for first day breakfast.

Great Location next to University and Botanical Garden

The apartment was very comfortable (especially the bed!). We received fresh rolls every morning and the refrigerator was also stocked with yogurt, eggs, butter and homemade marmalade. The location was wonderful, as it was next to the University and the Beautiful Botanical Garden. It was a very easy walk to everything.

Clean, comfortable, super-caring host made our stay great

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It is well-located close to the beautiful Botanical Gardens and the amazing University of Coimbra campus with its stately buildings and monuments and its incredible library and chapel (well worth the visit). It is also within walking distance of all the major sites but be prepared for Coimbra’s steep and winding, but fun to explore streets. This city is full of charm. The apartment is well set up, compact and efficient with more than enough space for the three of us. It was clean and comfortable (good beds) with everything you need including food to make breakfast (fresh bread delivered to the door each morning - and Portuguese bread is delicious!) There was coffee, tea, milk, juice, yogurt, cereal, even sliced ham and cheese! Eduardo thought of everything. Eduardo was super helpful and kind. He answered every question and met every need promptly before and during our stay. He’s a wonderful host and his apartment was great. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay in Coimbra

We had the pleasure of staying at Eduardo’s AH33 Studios apartment for two weeks in September. We chose the largest apartment, which was on the first floor. We loved the great light that came through the large windows; the large living space; and the updated bathroom and kitchen. A very special and appreciated touch is the continental breakfast provided! Eduardo and Louisa responded to every communication very quickly. The location, just a couple of blocks from the University and with a view of the aqueduct, worked for us! Being so close to the University, there was “noise” occasionally from student activities. The new windows in the apartment are very effective at muffling anything that was too disruptive. Eduardo provided recommendations for restaurants (go to Casa Costa!) and things to do. When one of our white shirts came back from the laundromat looking sort of “gray,” Eduardo took it and had his housekeeper clean it. Upon arrival, we asked for extra hangars, and were provided with an extra dozen almost immediately. These are just a couple of examples of how Eduardo and Louisa are working hard to ensure their guests have a great stay. We would definitely stay with Eduardo and Louisa again, and recommend you do, too!

Lovely Coimbra

Eduardo was very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. The apartment is spacious and had everything we needed. Eduardo even prestocked it with basic food items (yogurt, milk, eggs, juice & homemade jam) and he delivers fresh bread to the room every morning. This was highly appreciated by my children! The apartment is within walking distance to everything we wanted to see and there are restaurants close by also. We also very much enjoyed walking through the botanical gardens just around the corner.

Comfortable apartment in an ideal location

My wife and I had a brief two-day visit in Coimbra which was made very pleasant by our stay in this apartment. It is in an excellent location, close to all the sites listed in the description (University of Coimbra, Botanical Gardens, Cathedral, etc.) Eduardo was very accommodating, giving us suggestions on where to visit and eat, as well as helping us get a taxi when it was time for us to leave. The apartment itself is good-sized and very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with breakfast supplies (milk, coffee, tea, eggs, juice, etc.) and every morning we had fresh bread outside the apartment door. I highly recommend this apartment and would stay here again.

Fantastic Stay

The apartment was beautifully taken care of and very clean, well appointed in a fantastic location and the included breakfast was a wonderful surprise for us. The host was very friendly and accommodating. The area can be tough to find parking in but Edwardo was so accommodating that he found a parking spot close to the apartment earlier in the afternoon and saved it for us which was above and beyond! Great Apartment

Very comfortable apartment. Much better than a hotel room for the occasional down time. Having fresh bread at the door every morning, and homemade jam in the refrigerator, made breakfast simple and easy. If you have a car, parking can be an issue, but Eduardo helped out and found a convenient spot for us. On the day we left, we were in a hurry to catch a train, and I left my jacket in the apartment. Eduardo forwarded it on to a following location. I would definitely rent again.

Eduardo and Luisa were wonderful hosts. They helped us choose the best room during the booking process and Eduardo was available to answer questions and fulfill requests during our stay. Our apartment was located near the university, beautiful, clean, with lots of natural light. We were also well-fed: fresh warm bread, homemade jams, and more, replenished each day. We highly recommend this rental. One suggestion: if you have a sensitivity to chemicals/fragrances, ask that the bed linens and towels be washed with fragrance-free detergent. (A suggestion to the hosts: switch to natural fragrance-free detergent, as it is more environmentally friendly and better for everyone!!)
