Beautiful property; perfect location. Accessibility to beach, pool, local restaurants, grocery store, etc was spot on. The size of the unit we stayed in was absolutely perfect. In fact, the pictures did not do it justice. We loved it and will definitely be back again.

Perfect beach condo for large family or 3 couples

The condo was beautifully furnished and decorated, well equipped with every necessity, and had a perfect location on Perdido Beach. We would have preferred having an elevator, although that information could be found in the small print in the condo information and was known to us before renting it. It was not an issue, and we would stay there again if it’s available next time we visit.

Huge Condo with huge balcony.

We had two families stay there together with 4 adults and 6 kids. There was enough room to have brought a few more people with us! Entire stay was awesome. I love the fact that key was in a lockbox on site, and we didn’t have to go anywhere else to pick up or turn in keys. Plenty of very nice towels. Kitchen was very well stocked to cook anything we could think of. Balcony was huge with plenty of room for us all to enjoy the sunsets. If I have any suggestions, it would be to add a larger TV in one room with small Polaroid TV, but the beach was a better show to watch anyway. Would definitely stay there again.

Pitchers at Shipwatch 301B

WE thoroughly enjoyed out stay at Shipwatch 301B. The only suggestion would be that the property would benefit from cleaning the doors, cabinets and knobs. The front door knob was very dirty and so were the fronts of the kitchen cabinets. But the maintenance service was excellent. We had trouble with the dishwasher and a service man was sent out the very next day! We really enjoyed having the ice maker in the kitchen! It was definitely an added "luxury!" Thank you!!

Spacious beachfront property, good for families

The property was perfect for our three families. It is gulf front, but the property extends to the sound side. The walk to the beach is short, and the swimming pool is close by. The condo itself is well laid out with three bedrooms (k,q,q) on the bottom floor (the king has its own bathroom, but the other two bedrooms share a full bath). There is a bedroom, full bath and loft upstairs. Plenty of sleeping space for a family or all the kids upstairs with two full beds and two twins,each with a trundle. Just be mindful of the spiral staircase! If you have little ones, you’ll need a baby gate. Many VRBO’s I’ve stayed in have a salt, pepper etc. stash; this one does not, so make sure to bring everything, including your own coffee filters. Coffee filters, specifically, would be a nice thing for the property to add, since all makers are different. Also, we felt that some deep cleaning was in order, especially upstairs, where I wiped globs of dust off of the fan blades and needed to clean under the trundle beds. Needless to say, we had a few allergy sniffles in our group. That being said, it is one of the nicer properties I have stayed in for the price, and can be easily remedied. Keep in mind that you will be walking up and down to the third floor on loading / unloading. They do offer an outdoor, unlocked storage for beach items just as you exit the boardwalk. Lastly, the parking was an issue, as we found in the contract that only two cars were allotted to the unit which sleeps 10. The closest parking they could offer for a third car was paid parking several miles away. You may want to take this into consideration when booking. As a property, I imagine that a four bedroom unit would allot at least 3 spaces or offer guest parking. Just something to consider. Again, for the price, this unit was lovely and offered all amenities of a large condo but maintained a quaint and uncrowded duplex-like atmosphere.

I also wanted to take the time to post the items we provide in each unit: ITEMS PROVIDED WITH YOUR RENTAL: Luxury Coastal Vacations provides the following items and start-up supplies unless description states otherwise: dish towels, fully equipped kitchen (accommodates the total occupancy number), bed linens, bath towel sets (minimum 1 per person), kitchen towels and dishcloths, one roll of paper towels, small container of dish soap, 1 load supply of dishwasher detergent, dish sponge, trash liners (one per can), and 1 load supply of laundry detergent (for units that include washer and dryer), one roll of toilet paper per bath, soap in every bath, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and mending kit in master bath. If staying more than one night, guest will need to bring or purchase additional supplies, or LCV can provide additional unit supplies for a fee with advance notification. Units are also equipped with a vacuum cleaner, broom and mop, but no cleaning products or other supplies are provided. For an additional fee, LCV provides grocery shopping services, catering, sundries delivery, rentals of beach towels, portable speakers, and inflatable beds, and additional housekeeping services and/or linen changes. Your unit will have a minimum of 2 towel sets per full bath, at least one set of sheets, blankets, and mattress pad per sleeping surface, bath mats for every bath with a tub or shower, kitchen towels, dishcloths and oven pads. Shipwatch Surf and Yacht Club

This condo was absolutely PERFECT for our families. There were 9 of us and had PLENTY of room. The condo is very up-to-date and super clean. It sits on the most beautiful part of the beach. I could honestly just live here. The views are amazing. The location is convenient. *Be advised this is in a building with no elevator, but I promise it's worth the climb!! We look forward to visiting again!! Thank you for the hospitality!

We enjoyed our stay. Excellent location. Condo was clean with a well-equipped kitchen. Check-in was a little confusing with a misunderstanding of condo address and the key was not placed where the instructions said. Once we got in the condo, the rest of our stay was wonderful!

Great condo!

Great condo! We went here for a girls weekend and LOVED IT! The condo was clean and organized, with beautiful furniture! The living room and balcony is very spacious! It was only a minute walk to the beach. This condo is on the 3rd floor, and no elevator, but we didn’t mind! We already talked about renting it again next year! Thanks you for such a great beach experience!
