Beautiful barn in a stunning location.Very well appointed and clean.We loved the walk down to the picnic area and stream. The younger ones loved the hot tub.On our first morning there was no hot water, but the owner was on site within minutes and called his plumber who mended the boiler within the hour!Would reccomend.

Delightful Barn and Annexe

Loved our time here - extremely well appointed, great welcome basket, lovely walks, a great dinner at the Sycamore in Parwich. STrongly recommend.

An excellent base for a family celebration

A lovely warm property for a family gathering , with lots of lovely welcoming touches. Plenty of space and a well equipped kitchen . Very helpful and friendly owners. Thoroughly recommend it.

Beautiful, comfortable cottage.

The cottage certainly lived up to expectations even though the weather did not. We were a party of ten and stayed for a week but had plenty of space and found everything provided to be both plentiful and of a high standard. The owners were pleasant and helpful and we would certainly return.

We celebrated a special birthday with 11 family members at this property, fantastic location the property itself was very well kept and had everything we could ask for including a lovely hot tub and gardens which are very well kept which was a great draw for us booking the property.Unfortunately the property operates a no noise policy outside of the property after 9.00pm (which isn’t highlighted) so this deems the outside of the property redundant which is a shame during the summer months.We also had an issue with no broadband for two days which was no fault of the property owner as BT had an outage in the area.

Our 50th birthday weekend for Shirley in Derbyshire

It was a perfect home for 3 nights for my family. A great base for the 4 and 2 yr old. They loved the brook. Bakewell, Chatsworth, Gt Longstone etc not far way so an excellent location. A very easy place, well equipped and a thank you for returning one forgotten purse SO promptly !

This is a v high standard property: smart, comfortable, extremely well equipped. Lovely welcome basket when we arrived. Lots of useful information about the area. Lovely converted barn with all you require for a short break in the Peak District

Tissington Ford Barn is a great holiday home with ample bedrooms, great size kitchen and lovely family lounge complete with log burner. The barn is very well decorated and equipped - you need only bring yourselves! Lots to do in the area; walks, pubs, shopping and even golf! Welcome pack on arrival was a lovely touch. Would 100% return

Fantastic for Family and Friends Reunion

We were visiting from the USA and needed a base with six bedrooms so that we could invite family and friends to visit us. Tissington Ford Barn was a superb property for this purpose. Very well appointed and furnished. Everything worked as expected and the owners were very attentive and available. We used the change of linen servise twice which was done very effieciently. We thouroughly recommend this property.

Impeccable property

Had an amazing stay with my friends and family to celebrate my hen do, it was the best weekend! The property was gorgeous and the owners were so lovely. Communication with the property manager was also great, cannot complain at all. Would definitely stay again! Thank you for being so accommodating!!

amazing post Christmas break

had an amazing stay at the Barn with family and friends. The space was amazing, decor and feel superb and the communication and help from Sophie was fantastic. We always have a pre Christmas break with our family and friends from Manchester. This is by far the best house we have stayed in and 7 days went far to fast. would highly recommend the barn and will be back ourselves.

Celebrating our 45th Nurses Reunion

We all enjoyed the wonderful peaceful surroundings of the countryside as Tissington Ford Barn is in the most perfect spot for relaxing or exercise. We thank you for making us so welcome and providing such a fully equipped property with everything we needed. The Hot Tub was a dream and we all made full use of it.

A wonderful home away from home

We had a great long weekend with friends in this well appointed property. It was comfortable and spacious with great attention to detail. The whole place was spotless on arrival and a few minor issues were dealt with speedily and efficiently. I would highly recommend this accommodation!

Fantastic barn

Tissington Ford barn is beautiful. The accommodation itself is perfect for larger groups. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need & the welcome hamper is fabulous. There are great walks on the doorstep (with pubs on the way!)so you dont need to drive anywhere if you dont want to. All in all an outstanding property in a great location.

A warm welcome from Tissington Ford Barn

What a wonderful first impression of Tissington Form Barn we had. Everything from the generous luxury hamper as we walked through the door, beautiful decor, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen and the attention to detail at every turn. Our group of 8 friends and daughters have definitely found our second home to meet up annually. The private picnic area was such a privilege , the weather was beautiful and a perfect afternoon to enjoy the delights from the hamper washed down with prosecco . Sandy has thought of everything and the hot tub is just the icing on the cake.

Relaxing stay

Very comfortable and clean. Near a quiet (ish) road, but the orientation of the barns means it is quiet and private, even when sitting outside. Fantastic location for outdoor activities and sight seeing.

Tissington Ford Barn

Ideal for a wedding at Tissington Hall. Great supply of tea bags and basics really made staying easy. After the wedding we enjoyed a few days of great walks locally.

Amazing

Excellent property in a great location!

We had a fantastic stay at Tissington Ford Barn to celebrate our Dad's 60th birthday as a family. The property is excellently furnished, very comfortable and easily accommodated the whole family (Adults and little ones). The location is great and very picturesque. There are plenty of shops, villages and attractions within a short drive of the barn, so we were never without supplies or something to do. Communication with us was excellent and made us feel very welcome for the duration of our stay. Thank you!
