We celebrated a big birthday at Juglans barn last weekend with family. The place was gorgeous, very clean and spacious and just perfect for what we wanted. We especially loved the hot tub. The welcome basket was a lovely touch. All in all I would definitely recommend this property for a celebration and would consider it again in the future.

Lovely stay at Juglans Barn , one or two little tweaks , mirrors in all rooms, some sort of curtain/ blind for the large front bedroom and a visitors book to write comments. Thoroughly enjoyable stay and wonderful reception from owners. Would highly recommend.

Wow.

Wow. Juglans Barn is an amazing place to stay. As a party of 11 we had so much space to enjoy our break. The barn was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The welcome pack was a lovely touch. The football table, hot tub and snug space with a telly and games console were loved by everyone, and lovely to have a large dining table for us all to set down and eat together. Although there is no door to one of the bedroom’s we didn’t find this to be a problem. Mirrors in all of the bedrooms would have been helpful, I hope this will be seen as a helpful hint. The barn is in a quiet location which we loved. Communication with the owner was excellent and directions given were also good. This has to be one of the best places we have stayed.

We had a wonderful stay at Juglan’s Barn.

We had a wonderful stay at Juglan’s Barn. The property was impeccably clean and beautifully furnished making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The stunning views of Heage Windmill were fabulous making our holiday truly memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed all the amenities available, the table tennis and foosball tables provided hours of fun for the whole family. The PlayStation was also a hit, while the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind after a day of activities. The hosts were friendly and on hand if needed to ensure that all our needs were met.Overall, Juglan’s barn exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. We'll definitely be returning!

The house itself is stunning, the location is so quiet and so beautiful.

The house itself is stunning, the location is so quiet and so beautiful. Amazing views across to the windmill and down a little track so feels private. Village is lovely, friendly people and easy access to lots of local outings, =Chatsworth House worth the drive. Honesty bar and greeting gift were a lovely touch. The Black Boy recommendation was well-deserved, fab food.Massive bedrooms with comfy beds, entrance boot room ideal for getting in/out the house and all the junk! Gorgeous decorating, open space and social areas are great, everyone loved the indoor and outdoor games. Spot on communication and nice clear instructions to get there, the sign on the fence really helped us spot it. Fake grass meant we could use the garden even when it rained. Juglans barn is quite new to rental so we suggested a few modifications to the owner and they were open and welcomed our suggestions. When we stayed the main bedroom upstairs didn't have blinds or a door to make the most of the view (it's sort of an open suite of rooms set up), it didn't cause us any issues but we did suggest some form of privacy/blocking out the light might be useful. It does get quite warm upstairs but not unbearable if you open windows. I'd really recommend Juglans Barn.
