Nestling in rural France, between the market towns of Redon and La Roche Bernard, the well-equipped gite of les Chenes is on the edge of the historic village of Sainte Anne and is part of a traditional Breton farmhouse, with 2 foot thick granite stone walls under a slate roof.
The cottage of lesChênes offers a lovely base to explore from, but with its pretty south facing garden you may just want to stay 'home'.
lesChênes is in an area of mixed woodland, cider apple orchards and farmland and is 5 minutes from the Vilaine River and only 20 minutes from Brittany's south coast.

We were so fortunate this property came up for sale just as we narrowed our search to this lovely area. We'd admired the house in passing, but it was not on the market, then ~ the ' A VENDRE' board went up.... right place, right time!
What makes this property unique
Country living but close to so many amenities/locations/attractions. Only an hour to Brittany's capital Rennes, also Vannes & Nantes in under an hour, less than an hours flight to UK, two and a half hours on the train to be in Paris. A world renowned golf club 10 minutes away, more restaurants than are good for you! 20 minutes drive to stunning coast ......
