Cabanon "la Galinette" Ideally situated below the famous Corniche Kennedy, in the cove des "Bains de Mer chauds" (Malmousque).

Very quiet, waterfront (possibility of fishing from the balcony!).

Direct access to the sea, private inlet and Exceptional view.

Small fishing cottage of 16m2 well organized:
-nice kitchen fully equipped.
-2 seater sofa bed + small loft with 2 sleeping places.
-bathroom with shower, toilet, washbasin.
-in closet storage.
-small first-line outdoor sea table for breakfast and lunch to remember.

Velib station at 50m, also bus, downtown 5 minutes walk, shops (bakery, butcher, mill, restaurant and pizzeria within 100m)

A lovely place to stay and the view is spectacular. You do have to be very mobile due to the location. It is near to shops and restaurants/cafes. The 83 bus is fantastic for getting to ans deom the Old Port.

I recently stayed at a cabin with a stunning view, but it didn't meet our expectations. The building was under renovation, which wasn't mentioned in the listing. The beach, advertised as private, was actually crowded with people playing loud music and drinking alcohol. Sneak-ins were also a concern. The oven didn't work, and we found black mold near the sofa bed. We left after five hours due to the mold. The host communicated well, allowed early check-in, and gave a partial refund. Despite the issues, I appreciate their efforts. Improvements and accurate descriptions would enhance future experiences.

The place is indeed a festive place in summer the beach is not private and not advertised as such! As for the interior of the shed, since we have made some improvements and the exterior work was not planned, it is difficult for us to warn customers if the city decides at the last moment to intervene on the buildings. Anyway, now everything is over. You can also report that we were very flexible and decided to reimburse you without any problem.

Gem on the Mediterranean Sea

I spent 6 of the most wonderful days & nights of my life in this cabanon. I did not want to leave. 00I'll start by saying I gave this property 5 stars across all categories except "accuracy of listing." The property has been upgraded & the owner must be too busy to update the interior photos :) It's so much nicer than the current interior pictures would suggest! There is a new futon with a very comfortable double size mattress, set up as a bed when you arrive. They've added beautiful turquoise curtains around the bed for privacy & light blocking. The loft bed upstairs also has a very comfortable double mattress & a new picket fence for safety all around. So cozy! Kids will love it! Adults will love it! It is the same temperature up there as down below & that's a thing I worried about. I brought a tiny rechargeable fan, which was perfect. The kitchen window is high enough that the breeze comes across the loft bed. There is ALWAYS a breeze at night. I slept so well up there, with my friend down below. Note: rodents come out late at night, so don't leave the door open when you go to sleep. Rodents are quite normal in a setting like this & honestly, anywhere warm in the world, so DON'T freak out. The kitchen now has a 2 burner induction stove top & a small but full-size refrigerator/freezer. A lovely weaved curtain over the doorway; when the door is open, it allows privacy & a breeze. The linen fee is well deserved, so bring your own bedding, or pay it. Seriously...

Extras should be on the listing!

It's a unique property in a great location with a lovely view BUT it's not for everybody, so BEWARE!! No real bed! 50+ small slippery steps to go down from the outside to get to the small room and toilet that is unfortunately not very well maintained. A fresh coat of paint would make this place more welcoming! The view on a sunny day would turn all these negatives into positives, and in a few days the initial shock will go away and one could adopt. However, the dishonest add on fees was very upsetting. I made the reservation on 2/8/23 for two adults and made the full payment. I got an msg from the owner 2 weeks later asking for 45 more Euros for linen and cleaning. After I made the train booking and inform that I will arrive @ 8.00 p.m., I am told that it will be 20 more for late check in. Saida who checked us in was lovely, but when we told her that we will use the pullout sofa and the bunk to sleep (we paid for two adults), she informs Dominique by phone and was told that we need to pay another 20 the following day since we are not sleeping together and sharing the bunkbed. Listing states if you have 3 persons there will be an extra 20 charge, but this was a shock. If Dominique wants to charge for all these separately, she should be honest and have it on the listing. We were there for the Rugby World Cup, accommodations were tight and we were planning to rough out., but this stay was a poor experience to a otherwise lovely and fun visit to Marseille! Vive La France!!

Quartier très sympa avec tout à proximité. Les environs et la corniche promettent de beaux points de vue et balades avec le vallon des Cauffes simple et authentique. Cabanon bien situé dans « son jus » d’extérieur et bien rénové à l’intérieur, aménagé simplement.Quelques ustensiles et vaisselles en plus ne seraient pas du luxe (une tasse pour 2 c’est bof).Vue magnifique sur la mer et les îles du Frioul : le château d’If juste face à nous. De quoi profiter des levers et couchers de soleil tous différents chaque jour. Escalier sculpté dans la roche pour aller se baigner sans oublier masque et tuba dans une eau turquoise et transparente. Le top!Endroit vraiment fait pour les amoureux de l’eau, du simple et du vrai. Nous avons aimé croiser d’autres personnes, parfois discuter. C’est calme et parfois animé.Par contre, pas mal d'escaliers pour y aller et repartir donc attention.Accueil gentil.

Emplacement parfait .A qqles arrêts en bus du vieux port.Le mieux étant de rester garer et prendre transport en commun.Parcontre ces calanques sont extrêmement prisées des marseillais.Nous aimons rencontrer de nouvelles personnes donc ça n'a pas été une gêne pour nous. Grosse déception

Demandez photos récentes. Façades décrépies, taguées, escaliers mauvais état, câbles pendant sur façade, canalisations égout apparentes devant logement surplombant mer et baignade (attention si infiltrations ou problème pompe de relevage), balustrade fissurée au dessus falaise avec ferrailles rouillées dépassant. Un canapé basique et un fin matelas en mousse posé sur sol mezzanine ( inconfortable, mauvais pour dos). Pas de vrai lit. Vous entendez voisins du dessus, bruit insupportable la nuit sur mezzanine près du plafond. Douche vétuste et chauffe eau minuscule. Impossible de manger dehors tranquillement car c'est une coursive de 1.4 m de large pour passage des voisins. Vous êtes cernés par jeunes des banlieues venant en bus se baigner devant bâtiment jusque tard le soir avec musique, nourriture, cigarettes. Rochers plein de mégots et détritus. La nuit présence de rats attirés par miettes des baigneurs et qui passent devant logements. Des individus passent la nuit devant logement car portillon d'accès au littoral minuscule et ne se ferme pas à clé. Devant bâtiment bateaux au mouillage parfois sans cuves traitement eaux usées. Le matin détritus flottent. Accès mer délicat dans rochers avec échelle dégradée et corde. Calanque voisine démolie par mer avec regard éventré et plots pour signaler danger. Conseillons de choisir autre logement pour meilleures vacances. Aucun geste ni bienveillance de l'hôte. Plus chantier grande famille désormais proprietaire petit logement mitoyen.

C est vrai, qu'il est étrange que vous y soyez restés pour 1 semaine entière de vacances sans jamais nous contacter pour partager avec nous tous ces désagréments malgré notre proximité géographique et téléphonique ! Pour nous demander un remboursement en fin de séjour... Peut être pourriez vous mieux choisir vos destinations de vacances pour les prochaines fois? Merci pour vos retours. A little piece of paradise

Without doubt this is one of the most memorable places I have ever stayed! It is a small ,very rustic , but charming fisherman’s cabin in an amazing location. The views to the sea and the nearby islands are spectacular. You can literally swim from the front porch. Or fish!! The cabin is 2 mins walk to the bus stop with the trip into the old port taking 15 - 20 mins. Runs regular. Many amenities close by. Including a bar/ pizzeria with a very friendly and helpful owner. Fun to be there on Friday nights with the locals. The property manager was outstanding. Always there to help and with a very kind and caring attitude. I would stay here again “in a heartbeat “ and will recommend highly.

Superbe magnifique extraordinaire

Nous avons passés quelques jours dans le cabanon avec une vue imprenable sur la mer, l'ile du Frioul et le château d 'If. Petit déjeuner sur la terrasse, calanque privée, soleil et le tout en.plein centre de Marseille. Accueil parfait. Séjour parfait. Attention vous n êtes pas entièrement seul non plus car il y a 6 cabanons. Pour ceux qui voudront faire du naturisme.
