Also, those cast-iron stoves kept us warm and toasty during the winter nights, It felt like a home away from home, Plus, the location near Hautes Fagnes Nature Park was perfect for our walks and bike rides, I would totally recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with family and friends

Pluspunten : Wij hebben met onze familie een fijn verblijf gehad in Sourbrodt. Zeer fijne omgeving om verscheidene activiteiten te doen. Zeer aangename eigenaar die alles voldoende toelicht en waar je steeds bij terecht zou kunnen voor informatie. Ruime woning met voldoende faciliteiten. Gezellige living met grote zetel en bijzetzeteltjes (waar iedereen samen in kan zitten) en zeer grote tafel om samen aan te eten. De kamers en nieuwe badkamers zijn qua inrichting en voorzieningen prima in orde. Barbeque, ruime tuin, een biljarttafel en een voetbaltafel zijn zeker een pluspunt voor groepen zoals wij met kinderen. Speksteenkachel die zorgt voor aangename warmte in de benedenruimte van de woning. Minpunten : De keuken is wat klein voor zulke grote groepen, doch zeker voldoende voorzien van kookmaterialen en dergelijken. De deuren op de bovenverdieping van een aantal kamers(en badkamers) zijn helaas niet goed afgewerkt/afgesteld. Deze sluiten niet goed en klemmen erg, alsook zijn de bovenverdiepingen niet voldoende geluidsdichtend geïsoleerd of geluidswerend afgewerkt. Je hoort heel veel. Er hing tijdens ons verblijf spijtig genoeg ook een indringende geur bij de toiletten beneden.
