Spacious house in the countryside

We enjoyed our stay in the house. It is roomy and has a nice outside area with a good sized pool. It was well stocked with all the necessary cooking utensils etc. Nice place.

Nice house, tricky booking, read the small print.

The house is modern and clean, outside is very pleasant , the pool is a good size and depth. It is not clear from the description, but only 3 bedrooms have AC, we had to buy a fan as we were there during very hot weather and sleeping in the downstairs rooms was difficult. There were some maintenance issues. The bikes needed attention to their brakes, but there was no tool, so they were unsafe and we could not use. There was a wasps nest over the table beside the barbecue, the owner asked us to deal with this, which we did, but i would normally expect this to be done by a maintenance team. The location is very quiet and picturesque, but be aware that it is a very long drive from many of the activities of the Verdon Gorge. I hadn't appreciated how windy the roads are and how long it takes to get anywhere (eg1.5- 2 hours to rafting centre). If you want to do activities, suggest you use googlemaps to check drive times before committing to this house.The booking system with vrbo was problematic, lots of difficulties sending deposit. The system does not make it clear that the owner only wishes Saturday bookings,we wanted to arrive on Sunday, the vrbo app allowed us to book this, but the owner applied a surcharge of £400. The owner does not take a damage deposit via the vrbo system, only by bank transfer. This is not reassuring, it was tricky making an international transfer due to my bank being suspicious. Unclear that electricity cost was to be deducted from deposit.

Temperature in the 2 downstairs-rooms is in summer 19-20C. We thought , and still think, no need for airco. Sorry for the wasps . Your statement for help is not correct : we proposed an helper but you preferred acting yourself. And finally : tools for bikes are always available. You did not ask for them at all , same remark for the bikes. We regret your 3/5 score after us having told you had a wonderfull time in an exceptionel accomodation.

Schöne Tage an einem sehr schönen Ort

Ein sehr schönes, sehr gepflegtes und großzügiges Haus für ein geselliges und entspanntes Familientreffen mit 8 Erwachsenen (kurzfristig 10) und einem Baby. Sehr schöne Zimmer, saubere und moderne Bäder und 3 Toiletten. In dem großen Wohnraum mit inegrierter voll ausgestatteter Küche findet jeder ein Plätzchen, um sich zurückziehen zu können. Ein Higlight der große Pool mit einem großen Tisch unter einer Pergola und einem kleine Boule-Platz. Sehr angenehmer Kontakt mit dem Vermieter.

Great stay!

The house is great! It is very large and it holds serveral small spots to spent some time away from the main trouble :-) The kitchen is very well equipped and big enough to cook meal for 10 people. Only the wasps made it difficult to take breakfast on the balcony or the poolside.

Superbe semaine en famille

La villa est parfaite, superbement équipée, il y a tout le confort voulu, des fauteuils de piscine en nombre et de qualité, des petits vélos pour bambins qui nous ont été bien utiles, une literie de qualité et des accessoires partout. Bref impeccable ! De plus la région regorge d’activités intéressantes. Nous y retournerons à coup sûr

Belle villa dans un cadre magnifique

La villa se situe dans un cadre reposant, à proximité des lacs (Sainte Croix, Esparron..) et à proximité des Gorges du Verdon. Elle correspond bien à la description avec une superficie spacieux et un confort de bonne qualité. Entre amis, nous avons pu profiter de la villa avec piscine et des activités de la région (Rafting, canoë/kayak, pédalo..). François a été arrangeant et disponible. Merci pour ces vacances !!

EXCELLENT holidays with friends

We've boked the house to spend a week of holidays with friends. The owner nicely acceptted us on the last minute and even allow us to bring our little dogs on holidays with us (wich we appreciated and thanks him a lot for) The house is perfect ! New and with all the facilities. It is well located in the quiet area surrounded by only 2 other houses. Having dinner on the terrace outside beside the pool was our favorites moment every evening. From Allemagne en provence, we could easily reach superbs spots around for our daily excursions (Esparron du Verdon for kayaking, Riez for horse riding,....) Thank you for everything.

Hebben een super verblijf gehad in deze woning. Alles is erop en eraan, grote slaapkamers met badkamer, genoeg plaats voor verschillende gezinnen. Mooi terras en zwembad, BBQ. 2 frigo's en genoeg keukengerief om te koken aanwezig. Mooie uitvalsbasis om de streek te verkennen. Deze prachtige villa is zeker aan te raden.

Nous y avons séjourné les quinze derniers jours de juillet à trois familles. Nous avons apprécié que chaque famille puisse disposer de sa salle de bain.La villa est toute nouvelle et bien conçue. Elle est très bien équipée et spacieuse, les chambres ont une belle dimension. On a apprécié que les lits soient faits à notre arrivée.Belle piscine privée et belle grande térrasse avec barbecue. Beaux espaces extérieurs.Proprietaire répondant rapidement à nos question par mails.À recommander.

Super villa

Wij hebben deze nieuwe vila gehuurd in juli 2016 onder 9 vrienden. Alles was aanwezig, we kwamen niets te kort. Wij hebben volop kunnen genieten van het zwembad, gezellige barbecue-avonden. Er waren twee frigo's voorzien wat ook een groot pluspunt is met zoveel personen. Verder ook een ideale uitvalsbasis om uitstappen te doen. De kano-afvaart van de Verdon is een echte aanrader. De heerlijke bbq-avonden onder de grote pergola zullen wij niet gauw vergeten. Zeer vriendelijke en aangename eigenaars. Prachtig huis! Rustige omgeving, kortom een echte aanrader!
