This is a truly wonderful place from the the friendly and helpful owner to the gorgeous grounds and home. Everything you need and the furnishings are such good quality the bed is so comfy. Stacey is such a lovely host and her animals are adorable. Brilliant everything I cannot rate this place enough. The only problem was we had to leave.

Perfect location for getting out and exploring the area.
The property had everything we needed to make are stay comfortable. The small kitchen area was ideal if we stayed in and wanted to make our own food. The lounge was lovely with a nice big tv to watch the commonwealth games on, and a very comfortable sofa.
There are a couple of good pubs nearby, but we mainly used The Plough, who’s food was really good and the staff were very friendly.

Fabulous farm property
An ideal base for exploring the Peak District and the surrounding area, The Saddlery is a lovely apartment within a converted barn building which is full of character. The property has everything needed to enjoy a very comfortable stay and is maintained to a high standard throughout. It is conveniently located, in peaceful countryside, but close enough to the town of Congleton to enjoy its ample selection of shops and eateries. The property is also dog friendly and the adjacent paddocks were ideal for walking our labrador Oakley - he loved it!
Our hosts Stacey and Danny were very welcoming, always on hand if we needed some local knowledge and genuinely couldn't be more accommodating. Thanks for everything - it was a pleasure to meet you both.
Without hesitation, another stay at The Saddlery will definitely be our first choice when we are next back in the area.

Idylic location
My husband, 5 year old and myself spent a beautiful weekend here, the location is idyliic, the owners loaned us fishing equpt with chairs and taught us to fish on one of their many lakes, our 5 year old adored the animals and the 2 peacocks that walk casually past you whilst you enjoy an alfresco dining experience.
I cant recommend this place enough, the apartment is a home from home and the owners have thought of everything you would ever want and need.
Cant wait to go again
