Piece of paradise

This is our second time staying here, and we absolutely loved it, again. It is a charming villa with stunning views. It is perfectly located in Los Caños and makes us feel like we’re in paradise!

Beautiful house with a stunning view

If you've ever wanted to feel like you're on a yacht – a really big one with plenty of space – and see nothing but the ocean from your lounger, then this is the place for you! 180 degrees of ocean in front of you and a fully and lovingly furnished house behind you, plus super friendly landlords and warm on-site service, made the vacation the relaxing experience we were looking for. We'll be back, that's for sure!

Stunning location

The villa Capitaine Lucus is in a stunning location on a cliff directly above the ocean. At high tide the waves are splashing against the rocks right below you. The photos are exactly like the rental. The kitchen has been updated with top end appliances and was well equipped. There is a charming garden on either side of the walled property. The owner and caretaker were helpful and friendly and the property was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend staying here with two caveats: 1. We were there in the off season (three weeks in March) and almost nothing was open - one restaurant, a few convenience stores and the gas station. Absolutely nothing else. By the number of hotels, closed restaurants and bars, it appears that in high season (summer months) Los Canos de Meca can be quite lively, crowded even. We pretty much had the whole town to ourselves except for some locals and a few day-trippers on the weekend. 2. Yes, there is a nude beach nearby but sometimes the nudists didn't stay on their beach but were sunbathing directly below us and we saw some mightly X-rated stuff going on. If this makes you uncomfortable, be warned!

I have just read, dear Michael, your appreciation of your stay in our house. I thank you very much. I regret, of course, that the nudists shocked you; they shock me too. The Andalusian conception of nudism is scandalous and, in reality, they are more exhibitionists and voyeurists than authentic nature lovers. I hope you will come back in high season, so the protection of our high walls is particularly welcome. I send you our best feelings.

Wir haben jede Minute in dieser Ferienwohnung genossen. Herrliche Sonnenterrasse mit schattigen Arkaden, großer ruhiger eigener Garten rund ums Haus und Strandzugang direkt neben dem Grundstück. Super herzliche Gastgeber und Vorort - Ansprechpartnerin.
