The lodge was exactly as described. Not huge in size but plenty big enough for two. Nice, quiet site with plenty of green spaces, and very befitting its status as an adult only location
Verder erg genoten
I enjoyed staying at this place. I loved to drink a cup of coffe sitting in the morning sun, at the bench in the back small forrest , listening sounds of singing birds or waching stars from the terrace late evening, I worried that the mattress will be uncomfortable (previous reviews) but for me it was very comfortable. Lovely people.
Went away for the Christmas period was decorated lovely, loved the whole experience staying there and cute natural walk just outside, boyfriend got excited over a hedgehog. However there was a random pot of beef and mash potato in the fridge when we arrived but that wasn't a problem. Definitely will be coming back soon! ☺️
Beautiful cabin with everything we could need! Bishop Sutton has some nice walks but would recommend bringing a bike or driving for the best experience
Lovely little lodge, very cosy! Had everything we needed. Only negative was the mattress, could do with replacing as quite uncomfortable for both of us.
The lodge was stunning, it had everything we needed for three very relaxing days. Felt very covid safe, beautiful surroundings, would highly recommend and would definitely return. Thank you so much 😊
Nice lodge, clean and tidy.. practically everything in there that you need for a short stay.
The site is very well kept. The grounds are lovely.
It was easy to find and in a good location.
Nice pub just down the lane too.
Unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances, we had to cut our trip short and leave a day early.
My partner and I stayed here for 3nights as a little break away. The whole experience was amazing from start to finish.
Check in and out was very smooth and because if Covid it was different however they still made us feel so welcome.
All staff members and other guests were lovely and easy to talk to.
The lodge its self was cute and exactly what we were hoping for. Just enough room for too, towels were very soft and there was ample storage for everything we had.
Just would of loved to stay longer, I cannot wait to come back 😁🤞.
Thank you.
Stayed in the lodge. Beautiful and cosy. Everything you need for a break away. Lots to do close by. Pub just up the road. Well run, really enjoyed my stay. And had amazing weather. Would definitely recommend.
We had the most amazing week in our little lodge, it was so cosy and exactly what we were after! The caravan park itself was immaculate and quiet, and in such a good location for days out. Would absolutely come back, we loved it. Thank you so much!
Me and my partner had an amazing time at the lodge. It was like a fairy tale being there, and it was truly beautiful.
The hut itself was immaculate and beautiful. We had fairy lights on the decking out the front, and it was so peaceful, especially being on an adult only campsite. The little window in the back of the lodge overlooks the small forest and that was stunning to wake up too. The staff were incredible and were always willing and able to help. I've reccomended this lodge to a lot of people I know who hope to go there too.
It was an incredible experience and I would love to come back again.
What a perfect break away. We will definitely be returning in the near future and couldn’t of asked for a better stay. A beautiful site, very well maintained. A local pub where the food was amazing. What else could a couple want.
The place was amazing, quite peaceful depending on the other park guests but easily ignored.
The place was 'covid safe' as in the took out cushions and extras that aren't needed. The only downside would have to be the duvet that for hygiene reasons they 'made safe' by adding a waterproof cover to the duvet underneath the cover. While the idea is understood, it sounded like a crisp packet when trying to sleep. Not great, I'm not 100% sure why they had to do it when they would just need to dry clean the duvet but I guess for costs/speed.
Either way, it didn't ruin the trip and I am very keen to go back soon.
Great location despite being on the trailer park thus not being as private as you originally think. Staff was amazingly helpful and friendly. Didn’t know how to work the outdoor lights under the roofing causing a slight lack of sleep. But hands down was an amazing stay, fully reccomend
