Great communication in advance, with airport transfers to and from the airport arranged with ease.. Breakfast delivered to the room was great and more than we could eat!.. comfy beds, air con, and plenty of space for bags, jackets etc.. we had an early check out with flights and Catarina arranged for breakfast items to be delivered to our fridge the evening before so we could make sandwiches etc.. lovely local feeling restaurant called Fernandinho does great fish and recommend ice cream from sorbettino just a few mins walk away.. save space for the pastel de nata.. we consumed many!!! and a great place Manteigaria is again a few mins walk away!

From our first welcome to the last farewell we were treated to the Dare Lisbon House unique brand of hospitality. The check in experience was superb and informative regarding local attractions (and a complimentary glass of wine), the room was luxurious incorporating a well stocked kitchen diner area and the location is absolutely perfect to explore all that Lisbon has to offer. Genuinely could not recommend this hotel enough, and the next time we are in Lisbon we will be very very disappointed if there is no availability as this would undoubtably be our number one choice.

Everything about our stay at Raw Culture Arts & Lofts was simply superb. The staff was amazing and they were incredibly helpful, housekeeping was spot-on and the room was immaculate. We were greeted with a complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates in the room which was a great touch. Our room on the 3rd floor was vast, furnished with carefully curated Danish Design furniture, high-end toiletries, and fabulous bedding. From the room to the lounge and reception area we were surprised with a meticulously curated collection of art, furniture, books, lighting, and even vintage bikes! It is not just a high-end hotel, it is an art gallery you can stay in and feel immersed in the experience which for us was a really unique element to our stay. Location-wise, you are at the heart of Barrio Alto, which has great restaurants and bars in close proximity. It is very quiet during the day, and even if the cobbled streets are busy at night, the rooms have a double set of windows, each one with acoustic double glazing and sound-deadening thick fabric curtains; so basically we could sleep perfectly without being disturbed as the soundproofing of the room is top-notch. Breakfast was great too, and on our last day we had it delivered to our room, so we enjoyed it on the balcony overlooking the old streets of the neighborhood. Every single element of this hotel works seamlessly to create a truly unique and wonderful guest experience, which is why it is my new favorite place to stay.

An all equipped apartment, with fantastic views and very modern. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the air con was a god send. Little special touches like fresh bread, luxury coffee, luxury toiletries, shaving kits, latest gadgets, wireless technology, all make this somewhere that you should definitely consider. Just turn out of the hotel and you are in the hub of the city! The reception was very helpful and friendly and everything was done on time and with grace. Can’t wait to go back.

Well... I do not usually conduct reviews. I am one of those selfish people who like to read reviews, but always use the excuse of not having time to complete any. However, although we returned over two weeks ago - I must find time to complete a review of our experience. The location is ideal - everything is right on your step. When you step out of the hotel and walk a few yards you literally pour amongst the throngs of the hustle and bustle of Lisbon, The retail shops are on your doorstep as well as local tram routes. The hotel room was just stunning! The aroma as soon as you enter the villa lobby smells like a spa! The bed was so comfortable and there are plenty of accessories in the room to cook for yourself if you feel inclined to. I also loved the huge wooden shutters of the large windows. The staff were all always happy to help and they often went above and beyond to answer any questions and provide us with directions. The only thing I would say and it is not necessary a bad thing is that the hot water did turn very cold on Saturday night, this might be due to many people using it at the same time. I was almost tempted to keep making excuses to not leave a review so not many people find out about this location. In fact, it was a genuine bargain for the price we paid for flight included. We are booking to return soon and this time for longer as we miss the hospitality, warmth and genuineness from the people of Lisbon -you live in a wonderful place in the world!

Beautiful room. I was travelling with my teenage children and elderly mother. I wanted somewhere to stay with 2 bedrooms to give everyone a bit of space. Our ‘room’ exceeded our expectations, we all said it was the nicest place we’ve stayed in. More like a 2 bed apartment, we had so much space, 2 spacious bedrooms, comfy beds, 2 bathrooms, lovely living space with an amazing view of the river, sofa, arm chairs, TV, dining table and mini kitchen. The styling was beautifully done, our room was kitted out with everything we needed- there was even a mini kitchen with washing machine, microwave etc. Everything was spotlessly clean. We were on the 4th floor, there is a lift but there were stairs from our door up to our room. We paid extra for breakfast which was delicious and there was lots of choice. The location is very central, in the heart of Alfama, on a steep, busy road with a no.12 tram stop outside. The staff at the hotel were lovely, very efficient and helpful. I would definitely go back.
