The small cozy cabin is better suited for ADULTS, due to stairs, please no children.
The cabin backs to the forest! Located on a quiet cul de sac. Not near any busy roads. This small cozy A-frame cabin is full of quiet lodge-like ambiance with beautiful views from every room. The floor to ceiling windows and high beam ceilings allow you to take in the beautiful tree covered location and mountain scenery from everywhere inside this adorable vintage A frame chalet. The stone wood burning fireplace is cozy and warm in the winter. This quiet air conditioned cabins is located on large lot with a fenced backyard that backs to the national forest , offering stunning views and fresh clean air and a hiking trail right out the back gate. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, just bring your food. The large deck is great for eating or relaxing and enjoying the view!. Please note due to the quiet nature of this neighborhood NO ADDITIONAL GUESTS & NO ADDITIONAL VEHICLES are allowed on property, no events are allowed on the property. Cabin only has 1 small full bath and is suited to small group of adults. We complete a very thorough antibacterial disinfectant cleaning between bookings, sheets and towels are cleaned with soap & bleach between every use.

The cabin was amazing, great quiet cul de sac in Munds Park. There is a fenced in yard for the dogs and a gate at the top of the stairs to the deck, so the dogs were able to roam free on the deck without us having to worry. Everyone in the community was so friendly, taking walks and waving to everyone. We plan to return!!

My two college-aged sons and I booked the Juniper Chalet to escape the Phoenix heat and disconnect to relax amongst the pines. The Juniper Chalet did not disappoint! This space had everything we needed and more, I especially enjoyed having morning coffee on the front patio and taking a lovely hike each morning as the chalet backs to the National Forest. Flagstaff is a 20-minute drive away and we visited Lowell Observatory, wandered around Historic Downtown, ventured to Walnut Canyon, and hiked Aspen Loop Trail up near Snowbowl. The chalet was a perfect spot to enjoy boardgames in the evening, prepare some meals (there is a grill on the patio), and take our little dog Mocha for walks. Geoff and Michele were amazing hosts, quick to respond, and both the check-in and check-out process was quick and easy. I would highly recommend Juniper Chalet!

We’re an older couple with one dog. Juniper Chalet was perfect for us. We were looking for a quiet, cool place to escape the summer heat of southern AZ. This was exactly what we wanted. The VRBO description is 100% accurate. Our dog loved his fenced outdoor area. He thought it was his very own, special dog park. We especially liked the Chalet’s floor plan with two main floor bedrooms. Everything (furniture, kitchen appliances, dishes, bedding, etc.) was very clean and functional. The soaring front windows look out upon ponderosa pines, aspens and, of course, junipers. It is such a peaceful environment. As an older couple, we often struggle with technology. Our host provided clear, easy to understand instructions for checking in and out. Everything went smoothly. Our only regret: due to our schedule, we couldn’t stay longer. We’re already looking ahead to see if we can return again before the end of summer.

Perfect cabin

This is our second time staying at this wonderful cabin! Everything was so neat and clean. The owners left wonderful directions for everything. The beds were so comfortable, and the kitchen well stocked! Wonderful communication with the owners! It is a perfect cabin to stay at! Highly recommend!

Flagstaff trip

Fantastic retreat!

This is a great cabin tucked away at the end of a cul-de-sac, backing the forest. It was perfect for our holiday weekend. It had everything we needed, great beds, well appointed kitchen, and a beautiful porch to relax and enjoy the tranquility and beauty of nature.

Escape From The Heat

Great place to celebrate the Fourth of July and get out of the triple digit temperatures. The owners were great. They stocked the place with everything we needed. It’s a perfect place to stay for a couple.

We are NAU alumni and are thrilled at the opportunity to have a 2nd home in the charming vacation town of Munds Park, just outside of Flagstaff. We love visiting the town of Flagstaff and really enjoy skiing and snowboarding at Snowbowl. This perfect get away is an adorable 1970s mid-century modern/rustic A-frame cabin with wood ceilings, a stone fireplace, amazing views from the large windows, an expansive deck and all located on a lot that backs to the forest..

Wonderful vintage mid century style A-frame cabin with open airy views, flat driveway and located on a quiet cul de sac, not on a steep hill or overhang, fenced yard with trail to forest. Small and cozy, quiet and romantic ambiance.
