Overall, the property is good and is conveniently located near the rainforest attractions, several beaches, and Walmart. For anyone planning to explore the rainforest and nearby attractions, this is a great place to stay.The kids had a wonderful time enjoying the pool, which was one of the highlights of our stay.That said, the owner could improve a few areas, particularly the bathrooms and the kitchen. The bathrooms, in particular, could benefit from some upgrades and better maintenance. Other than that, we had a good experience and enjoyed our stay.

Juan and his home exceeded all expectations. He is an excellent communicator, responsive and has terrific local knowledge. The pool, basketball court and outdoor covered areas were our favorites to hang out and enjoy. The beds were comfortable and the AC was cold. What else could you need??? Highly recommended.

Stayed form 8/4/thru 8/11/2026: I must admit when I book on VRBO or any home rental site I am always a little bit the skeptic. However, myself and my family (10 in total) were more than pleasantly surprised. The home was beautiful and clean and well stocked with vacation necessities (i.e., a blender for pina coladas/daiquiris) and 4 lounge chairs by the pool. It also provided beautiful views of El Yunque in the distance from the top porch which also, made for a perfect place to lounge in the morning and/or evening enjoying a cup of cafe leche. The pool provided morning and late night entertainment and was cleaned regularly during our stay. The house was located in a double gated neighborhood and the folks were very friendly when we walked in the mornings throughout the community. Juan was an exceptional host and very proactive, making sure our stay was enjoyable. It has been a number of years since I last visited Puerto Rico and the Luquillo area so I had many questions, which Juan answered within minutes of me asking. He made it very easy to check in and check out and we all felt very welcome. I look forward to booking this place again on my return to the island next summer and thereafter if Juan continues to rent. We give it a 10/10 rating.

This was a fantastic property to relax on the island, soak up the sun and enjoy our Spring Break! Each bedroom and main room has air and kept the house cool, laundry kept up with pool and shower towels which are provided too. Fabulous patio with electric grill was utilized while swimming in the wonderful pool and basketball court. Host, property manager, neighbors and pool maintenance company were all fabulous as well. Attentive when needed and always answered if there was a question. Visitting the island was wonderful and the property made it even better. Very close to many stores, restaurants, beaches and attractions. Highly recommend!!

The neighborhood is easy to access, very safe and quiet. Super close to groceries, Quioscos, El Yunque, & just minutes from many great beaches.The host is incredibly attentive. We didn't need much from him, but he was always quick to respond and he was very helpful with all of our needs.The house itself was beyond a dream. Pictures don't do it justice. So much beautiful space to enjoy. BBALL court was a lovely bonus.Kitchen fully stocked w/cooking equipment. Very modern interior. Beds were comfy-Master is huge.

There were 10 of us who stayed for 10 days. Wonderful location. Close to restaurants, stores, El Yunque, and a short 30-35 min drive to the city. The house was beautiful inside, safe neighborhood, 2 gates to get in, etc.

Pleasant stay in Luquilla.

The house was nice, & we had a good time. Location was very good, as we were less than an hour away from Old San Juan. We enjoyed the beaches & the many restaurants, especially the Desperado.

Family vacation

Our stay was great and allowed us time together as a family. Kids loved the pool as well as the adults. Lots of space and areas to just hang out as a group or if you wanted quiet. Great location to most of the things we did while there.

Beautiful Property

The place is beautiful. The amenities were excellent. There was no hot water for the first two days because a switch in the laundry room was not turned on prior to our arrival. We could have used hand and face towels in all of the bathrooms. These are easily fixed with a pre-arrival checklist.

Mom's 70th in an awesome place

We had a wonderful time - stayed there in early September. Absolutely gorgeous property - very close to everything. Pool was clean and fun. Beach was so close as well. Felt completely safe (gated community) and had a wonderful experience! Would definitely recommend and revisit next time I'm in PR. Thanks :-)
