A lovely space with great views, lots of little touches and amenities provided, we didn't want to leave. Great value for money, excellent location for snorkeling, hiking, supermarket, a few restaurants and the bus stop. 10/10 would love to stay again.
The views are fantastic. Although you have elevated views, it is a short manageable walk to the beach. My 19 year-old daughter walked to the beach regularly accompanied by Rex the dog and who swam with her. She felt very safe. The home is very close to Wigmore’s a 24 hour petrol station and small supermarket. Besides selling normal grocery items it also sells chicken curry meals and yummy steaks for the barbecue. The property is very clean and tidy and serviced regularly with clean towels and sheets. The Home is on the south side of the island, walking distance to Vaimas a very well known and popular restaurant right on the beach. Also a short drive to Muri night markets.
The property is maintained in excellent condition by the owners Bruce and Josephine. It is extremely clean, well stocked with staples and in a great location. It is handy to some of the best swimming and snorkeling on the island and Wigmores is conveniently located only minutes away. Bruce and Josephine are generous, kind hosts and will make you feel very welcome
We arrived two days late as our flight was cancelled. The house was open and welcoming. Two dogs welcomes us Rex and Dog. They became part of our family for the week of our stay. The house is perfectly located and close to all amenities like Wigmores and food places . The owner Josephine is super accommodating and helpful. We loved our time here. We are not resort fans and prefer privacy. This is what you get here. We will be back.
was very well equipped with an amazing view from the balcony. it was not easy to find as there is no signage from the road. wigmores store is very helpful and close which was lucky as i didn’t have google maps capacity. The wifi was not great but that only bothered the teenager! met the owner once and would have had more contact with her if i had data as she was emailing me(my bad) she seemed very lovely and accomodating. all and all a great stay and a fantastic holiday.
Beautiful little place, it suited us perfectly. Lovely view and so close to Wigmores for all our needs. The dogs made us very welcome. Would definitely recommend this for a relaxed quiet spot pn the island.Thanks.
A great place to stay! Our friends were just down the road at Raro Beach Bach so very convenient. Please make a sign for the bottom of the hill so it’s easier to find. Asked several locals and no one had heard of it.

Directions to the property
The map shows an incorrect location of the house. The easiest way to find it is if your coming from the airport and you pass the Sheraton on your left, you will come just into Vaima BEFORE Wigmores. There is a street opposite the DVD shop and take it to the top of the hill. Turn right, then take the gravel road on the right. The house is on the right. It has amazing views and a very nice breeze! It’s nice and close to Wigmores and very central to other amenities! Would definitely stay here again!
Great place to stay with an amazing lady to deal with, we absolutely enjoyed being here. No water from 8am-5pm which was a little bit of a challenge, however we were not their during the day.

wonderful relaxing, and great conversations
propped up on an embankment with a view of the ocean picture framed with papaya, coconut trees and plenty of other tropical flora, and fauna lies the perfect home away from home in Rarotonga. This property is nestled in a community of local family, and friends of the island. Although it is very private, you can immerse yourself easily as much or as little as you would like with all people of the land. During my daughters, and my stay we were lucky enough to have the company, and conversation of the matriarc of the family Josephine, although the property is usually run, and handled by her handy, and knowledgeable daughter, and neice. Overall this was one of the most relaxing vacations I have had in a long time, and maybe ever. Have came home missing my favorite entertainment though the roosters, and chickens.
