Peace on the Brewers River with Panoramic Views.

Enjoy this beautiful vacation rental located in the resource protection area of the Chesapeake Bay along the Brewers River. You will wake up to the sounds of the nature. As you enjoy your favorite morning drink you will see birds swooping low over the marsh and river such as egrets, bald eagles and many other species. In the evening enjoy a romantic dinner on your deck as you watch the sunset over the marsh and river and you may see some deer frolicking in the meadow at low tide.
Your rental consists of the entire house however basement is excluded, three bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, dining/sun-room, living room with fireplace, library 3 bathrooms , laundry area (washer & dryer).

Very quiet and just what we needed to relax a few days. Pretty scenery that changes with the tides, bringing in different wildlife as well. The house had everything we needed and didn’t have to go buy it, like spices and paper towels, etc. Five stars from us.

Peaceful, private, pleasant! Lovely water views throughout the house. Comfortable seating indoors and outdoors suitable for quiet seclusion in some locations and spacious rooms for gathering with friends or family in others. WiFi worked very well in all rooms, upstairs and downstairs. The whole house was clean and well organized, especially the kitchen. The hosts were quick to respond when we reached out to them. This would be a great vacation spot in any season.

Romantic getaway

My family and I had a wonderful four night stay. This home is very clean, beautiful, and is furnished with everything you need to feel at home. There were even fresh flowers and warm homemade bread when we arrived! We would definitely stay there again ! The hosts are amazing to work with

Amazing Home!

We came to Virginia for a family member's change of command/retirement from the Navy in Norfolk. This house was perfect for our stay. We had three couples and each of us had our own room with a king size bed and bathroom. The kitchen was spacious and the living room was great for us to all hang out in and visit. Jerry & Lucy were phenomenal to communicate with during our stay. The view from the house was amazing and we would definitely stay again. Highly recommend this VRBO!

We enjoyed our stay at this location. It was clean and well equipped. Loved the location overlooking the marsh and water ways nearby. The only issue was the coffee pot leaked pretty bad. We notified the owners and they said it would be replaced. The owners were very nice and accommodating. Thank you!

What a gorgeous home on the marsh with viewsyou could only dream of! The home is upscale with loads of amenities. Jerry & Lucy were a pleasure to deal with & went out of their way to make sure everything was to our satisfaction.Perfect location for touring the many historical venues or just sitting on the rear deck enjoying a coffee & the sounds of nature. Beautiful home & view

We loved our stay at Jerry & Lucy's home, it was even better than the pictures. Beautiful & comfortable home with an outstanding view, plenty of space for our family. For other moms with little ones: there was a large ventilated closet upstairs that was perfect for the pack & play, good air circulation plus outlets for the monitor & noise machine. :) We hope to stay again next time we're in the area. Thanks very much for the hospitality!

This is a beautiful home in a peaceful setting. Everything was comfortable, beds, couches & chairs, the deck furniture. The kitchen was very well equipped & organized. There is privacy and quiet, but you are not far from shops & restaurants. Definitely recommend staying here!

Relaxing Stay with Pretty Views from the Screened Porch

We had a very relaxing long weekend with the dogs at Lucy & Jerry's beautiful basement apartment. The apartment has lovely decor and very comfortable beds. Plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 dogs. We enjoyed coffee and breakfast on the screened porch with gorgeous water views. Would have liked more yard space for the dogs, but we adjusted well. Keep in mind there is no water access from the property. And one of my dogs did adventure into the marsh once and needed a bath. (Just a warning to dog owners with adventurous pups). Lucy and Jerry were very accommodating and friendly hosts. Even though the neighborhood seemed "off the beaten path" we were able to get door dash delivery and a Lyft to dinner one night without a problem. While the apartment has a well equipped kitchen, we choose to eat out mostly. Yummy sushi, Mexican, and seafood options close by. We highly recommend this property!
