PET FRIENDLY! Manitou Lodge's River Houses location and value make this two-bedroom two-bath condo hard to beat. Featuring spectacular views of Historic Telluride and the San Sophia Range, Manitou Lodge's River Houses comfort and views will make you feel like you are in a mountain haven (which, of course, you are). The residence allows you to enjoy being in downtown Telluride while feeling the seclusion of the wilderness that surrounds you.

This spectacular vacation residence features a well-equipped kitchen, combined dining and living areas with vaulted ceilings, and a deck overlooking historic downtown Telluride. There is an electric piano in the living room that likes to be played. The bedding is a queen bed plus a twin bed with trundle in the private downstairs bedroom, and a king in the master bedroom on the main level. The common area hot tub literally hangs over the San Miguel River. The unit is less than a block from the Gondola Plaza along the river trail. PLEASE NOTE: There are several flights of steps to access the unit once you cross the river. With all the amenities you'd expect and the views to match, Manitou River houses offer up a truly unique Telluride vacation! Responsible dog owners are welcome ($75 nonrefundable pet fee).

Accommodations in Telluride cancellation policy:

The first payment of 33% is due at the time of booking, and the second payment will be taken 30 days before your arrival. Cancellations received after the first payment is received may forfeit the entire deposit unless the property is rebooked for part or all of your dates booked. If the property is rebooked, the first payment will be returned in part or whole (depending on the amount of rebooked dates) less the cancellation fee. The cancellation fee is 10% of the total amount paid. Cancellations received within 30 days of arrival or after full payment has been received are non-refundable, unless the property is rebooked, in which case all or a partial amount paid will be returned less the cancellation fee. The condo was fabulous! We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We cooked several meals and enjoyed the hot tub more than once. We had a small issue with parking initially but got it figured out right away. Getting up to the condo was a bit of an adventure so be ready for stairs and when packing, remember you have to carry everything up to the condo and back down when you leave. Otherwise the condo is in a great location, has fabulous views and everything you could need to be comfortable away from home.

I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. And we plan on staying again next time we come back to Telluride. The unit has everything you need, plenty of space, great views and right on the edge of town - easy walk to everything. I didn’t bother me one hut but if you have mobility issues - there are some flights of stairs to get into the building but there’s also a little trail that runs right by the front door that I used every time. Once inside - theirs is a small entryway and bedroom/bathroom. Up some stairs to the second floor is kitchen, living room, nice sized dining area and primary bedroom and bathroom. Management is very responsive. We had a broken coffee maker and they replaced it same day. I highly recommend for your next stay in Telluride

Great Location

This home is in a beautiful location, central to everything that you may want or need. The large beautiful windows provide plenty of tree and mountain views. It's well equipped and comfortable. We especially enjoyed it being adjacent to the walking path along the river. We hope to return soon.

Can’t get a better location in town near the gondola. However, it’s difficult to find, there are a ton of stairs that you need to heave your stuff up that we were not expecting and parking is impossible/expensive.

The place was very nice and pretty much exactly what the listing said. Everything was great, very close to everything downtown and to the lifts and gondola. Would stay here again. Very pet friendly. One minor draw back was it is a decent hike from the parking lot and up a bunch of stairs to get your stuff in the apartment. But very. Ice place

This condo was lovely and comfortable for our family meet-up with grandparents, parents and a baby grandchild. We had cozy space in the living/dining/kitchen area to hang out and the bedroom arrangement provided quiet and privacy. The kitchen is well outfitted and stocked with basic supplies. The location overcomes any flaws. The condo is perfectly situated -- very short walk to gondola and bars/restaurants. The unit itself is very nice. The building is undergoing some needed repairs. Did not really impact our stay.

Skiing holiday in a great location

This was our first time in Telluride and we couldn't have picked a more convenient location. <5min walk to the gondola and centrally located to restaurants and markets. The bedrooms are located on 2 different floor which is fine. The kitchen is well equipped and we were able to cook everything we wanted. Bedrooms and mattresses were comfy and there were plenty of great towels (even for hot tub). The cloth furniture was a little worn but nothing that would stop us from visiting again.

62 steps up to kitchen. Comfortable place with all necessities including olive oil, 1st night's coffee, etc...Front door 100 feet from chair 8 and 140 feet from gondola. One block to liquor store and two blocks to grocery store.

Fantastic Stay in a Spotless Property

The property was clean and well-maintained, with every room in nice condition. The check-in process was seamless, thanks to clear instructions. The online listing accurately reflected the property, with no discrepancies. The property manager was very responsive and helpful, promptly addressing all our inquiries. Situated in a lovely and safe neighborhood, the location offered easy access to local attractions, shops, and restaurants. Great Location to the center of town.

This was a lovely condo right in the heart of things.It was furnished lovely and had everything we needed. My granddaughter loved the electric piano and we all enjoyed the puzzle board and working all weekend on a puzzle. Be prepared for LOTS of steps unloading and getting settled in the condo, however, it seems all places in Telluride have lots of steps and limited parking so this is NOT a negative against this condo. Having a bad knee along with getting adjusted to the altitude the stairs were a little much.

Great unit and location, but had some building issues

We have been to Telluride many times and always have a good time. This was our first time in the Manitou building and the location is about as good as you can get. One thing that I love about Telluride is that you don’t need a car at all since everything is walkable. This unit was very nice. We are a family of 5 and it gave us plenty of room and it was well stocked with kitchenware and towels. The reason for the 4 star review is because of the building. Access to the ski lockers was blocked while we were there because of repairs, the code we were given to the hotub did not work, and the hot tub was cold for two of the 5 days we were visiting. None of these were major, but they were inconveniences. Telluride accommodations did resolve the hotub code very quickly so they did a good job. Overall, we loved our stay and will be back to telluride next year!
