Perfect - we had a family birthday weekend. There is plenty of comfortable beds, bathrooms and a large common area to gather in. There is also a second den and the upper porch to have private time or small group talks. The "worst" thing I can say is that I got lots of steps going between the kitchens and looking for people :) The house is a short uber from Broadway. Excellent local coffee shops are a couple blocks away. A couple people felt completely safe to go for a morning run around the neighborhood. Highly recommended!

5 Stars - Amazing Experience

We had an absolute blast at the Mansion! Our group of 15 adults stayed comfortably, and the property exceeded all expectations. The house was spacious, clean, and perfectly equipped for a large group, with plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas for everyone to spread out or gather together. The location was ideal—close enough to downtown Nashville to enjoy the nightlife, music scene, and restaurants, but quiet enough for relaxation. Awesome experience.

Family Christmas Gathering

Great location, great layout for our multi-family Christmas gathering. We were able to have each family use a floor of the home, which gave everyone plenty of room and bedroom/bathroom space. Plenty of dedicated off-street parking space. The kitchen was well-stocked and the eating spaces accomodated our large group well. Owner communication was excellent and they were very flexible with us on a few special requests. Highly recommend this charming and unique home for large groups!

This house was perfect for 12 women. Great location, wonderful lay out, and large enough for private rooms and bathrooms. Beautiful home with old-world charm, but all the conveniences. Highly recommend.

Fantastic Music Row Experience

Great home base for spending time with family. Ample room, enjoyed the veranda. Walking distance to many attractions and agort drive to others. Chance opportunity for impromptu Chris Young show and meet and greet near Buddy Killen circle was a fun bonus.

Birthday Celebration

This house was perfect for celebrating my 40th with a big group of friends and family. Everyone had their own space and set up to make them feel at home. I highly recommend this house and the location is wonderful. It was really relaxing sitting outside on the balcony feeling the cool air. Everything was amazing!!

It was a perfect location for my 50th Bday Celebration. My friends came from multiple states and everyone had a great time. There were 21 of and enough room for all. Would recommend for large parties.

So much room for us to move around and have our own space.Perfect location, central to downtown. Very quite neighborhood on Music Row. Only disappointment...one coffee cup, no dishwasher detergent, and the cleaning staff apparently left laundry in the dryer. Other than those three minor issues...this place is fantastic and would highly recommend.

Perfect for a reunion of 8 women

The house was perfect for our reunion of several adult women, most who wanted their own bedroom and bathroom. Each floor has a kitchen and sitting area, however, we only used the main floor kitchen and living room which worked out well for 8 of us to hang out together. Each room is decorated nicely and the bathrooms are nicely updated. My only issue was that the owner doesn't send the lock codes until the day of arrival, which made me a bit anxious. As we left the airport for the house, I checked emails and had not received any codes. Luckily the owner answered when I called and was able to email the codes right away, but if he hadn't been available, we would have been locked out of the house. I have a VRBO rental and electronically set codes for specific days and times and send them out 3 days in advance. I recommend the owner change this procedure.

Great location and huge home

The mansion is really 3 separate apartments which wasn’t really stated in the listing. Our only big complaint was communicating with the guy we rented from. He sent us the wrong door code to get into the house and we waited over an hour…I called, texted, messaged on the app… until one of my friends called from their phone where he answered right away. He sent me the old door code and not an updated one. So we wasted an hour and a half sitting in the parking lot in the rain. At one point while cooking dinner, the smoke alarms started going off. Turned out the ovens haven’t been cleaned and there was a boat load of old food in the bottom which made the oven smoke really bad. When I called the guy to figure out how to turn off the whole house alarm (whole house alarm goes off when the smoke alarm goes off) he instantly said “well who is smoking in the house” which was very annoying. Maybe check in on your properties and make sure they’re clean? Only other smaller complaints is that the coffee maker had mold in it on the first floor, the sheets had gross stains on them, under our bed was a pacifier… clearly the house doesn’t get deep cleaned very well.

The house is perfect for small groups to have separate sleeping areas but also multiple gathering areas to choose from. Unfortunately we arrived on the 1st day of a four day rental to the A/C not working in 3rd floor with temperatures passing 94 degrees inside. 3rd floor has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms that were not usable the 1st night due to temperature. The owner did call A/C repair man but by the time he arrived and got it fixed it was to late to cool the 3rd floor for first night 2nd and 3rd day it worked but not well. Then we returned from being out all day on 4th night and A/C was broken again.. so hot the thermostat did not register. So out if 4 nights of rental we were only able to use the 3rd floor 1/2 the time but still required to pay for it.

Wonderful home for a family reunion

Our group of 20 adults loved this home. There are plenty of beds and bathrooms for all. The best part is ample common space for meals and socializing, either all together or in separate small groups. The home was spotlessly clean, has a well equipped kitchen, and modern updates.It is hard to find a home that will comfortably accommodate a group like ours, but this home is one of the few that does. If our group returns to Nashville for a future reunion, this will absolutely be our first choice.

Nashville Home Away From Home

We had a group of 21 family members stay at the Music City Mansion and it was perfect for our group. The layout allowed us to be together, but each have our own space. 7 reserved parking spaces out back was very nice. Everything we needed was there and waiting for us and the host was very responsive. I would recommend to any group!

Connie has been an Optometrist and Lewis a CPA/Microsoft Dynamics Developer/Project Manager/Consultant during this time. Lewis and Connie also own the Belle Air Mansion a 235 year old Historic Bed and Breakfast and Wedding Venue in Nashville.

Why they chose this property

We purchased the Music City Mansion because it is located very near all the best activities, venues, and restaurants in Nashville. The Mansion is in a very quiet area even though it is just a little over a mile to Broadway. We wanted a place that guest could come and not worry about spending their valuable vacation time in a car or worrying about traffic. Parts of Music Row, including old houses with music studios, have been bought up and turned into condos. We bought this to preserve the house and music studio and also because it is a grand house build right after WWII. It incorporates historic features with modern amenities.

What makes this property unique

The Mansion is 12 bedrooms and nine full baths all in one house. It is a great place to gather and yet also allow for privacy. The Mansion has a fabulous recording studio directly behind it. It is also right beside Oceanway Studios, which many consider the best music studio in Nashville.
