Our Northwest Tucson apartment faces Pusch Ridge and the Catalina Mountains and has easy access to hiking, local cafes, and unique Southwest stores. The apartment includes a queen bed, walk-in closet, desk and chair with access to the internet and TV. Apartment includes refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and outdoor sheltered Southwest kitchen. Guests have access to a separate washer and dryer. Located in a secluded garden paradise with private entrance and parking, a rock garden pool, palm tree shade and pool deck table, chairs, and lounge. Our ramada covers the outdoor kitchen, table and chairs, plus a hammock. We are a fifteen minute drive to downtown Tucson's nightlife and the University of Arizona with its museums and art/drama centers. Local attractions open all year around include Tohono Chul Garden and Bistro, Western Parks and Monuments, two theater complexes and shopping centers, plus two large hospitals and urgent care facilities if needed. During late January Tucson also hosts the famous Gem and Mineral Show, and in March a Festival of Books that is the third largest in the United States. The living space and pool area back onto the Sonoran Desert wildlife corridor, so, although you are protected by a sturdy fence, you may see bobcats, javelinas, and coyotes along with Coopers, Harris hawks and Great Horned or Western Screech owls. Sit outside in the warm sunshine and watch the quail lead their clutches around the pool and the clouds shapeshift across the sky. Huddle beside a cozy fire at night and watch the amazingly clear constellations unfold.
