We had an great stay at the cabin. It was very clean, very comfortable and the view is outstanding! We spent a lot of time in the nearby State Forests, and there are plenty of sites to see. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Stay at the Brown Drake Lodge, you will not be disappointed! We traveled with another couple and were there October 2-5, 2026. With the private location and feeling like you are home, as soon as you step into the Lodge, you will feel so welcomed. So many little things from the complimentary bottle of wine from Benezette Wines to if you forgot to bring something, it will probably be there. The Lodge has so many outdoor activities, the wrap around deck for lounging and firewood on site for relaxing evening fires. We did not see any elk at the Lodge but, morning deer would come and check us out every day, along with many birds and woodland creatures. The beautiful drive along the River to Benezette is only 20 minutes. As we've stayed in this area a few times, not being right in Benezette was a plus! Communication with the Host was very easy. We would definitely book this Lodge in the future. Thank you for a wonderful weekend! Shoemakers and Youngers
