You’re overlooking the beach and pool, and you’re surrounded by luxurious amenities. Welcome to the South Seas. This 12th floor, 1,100 square foot beachfront condo sleeps seven, with one king bed, one twin-over-twin bunk bed, one full bed, a sleeper sofa and two bathrooms.

If you enjoy sitting back and watching the sun sparkle off the turquoise ocean, this spacious balcony was made for you. It faces southwest, giving you a full day of warm, tropical sun as you savor the view of silken white sands and lagoons encircled by mangroves. Just when you start to think nothing could possibly surpass this mesmerizing sight, the sun goes down, turning the sky brilliant orange.

The sun-brightened interior of comfy furnishings and ocean-themed walls creates a feel of beachfront living at its best. Decorative touches like tropical fabrics and seashells enhance the feeling of tranquility. Both the living room and the master bedroom open up to the balcony, filling the unit with ocean breezes and the sound of softly breaking waves.

The kitchen is fully stocked with all the modern appliances and cookware you need to prepare everything from a family dinner to a tray of sunset-viewing cocktails to bring out to the balcony.

Beachfront living is all about comfort and relaxation, so the unit comes with air conditioning and heating, ceiling fans, free wi-fi, cable, linens and towels. You’ve also got beach essentials like beach towels, beach chairs, cooler and umbrella. Good thing, too, because Tigertail beach is just a few steps away, and it’s filled with endless activities. Wade through tide pools in search of shells. Explore the lagoons in kayaks or water trikes. Or just lie back and watch dolphins frolic in the surf.

The South Seas surrounds you with deluxe amenities, starting with a heated pool and deck filled with sun loungers and tiki umbrellas. You can also play tennis on scenic courts beside Clam Bay, or how about shuffleboard or bocce ball, cook on the charcoal grills, work out in the fitness center or take part in some of the daily activities in the social room.

Paradise

Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Marco Island. This condo was in a gated community/ club and was very safe with beautiful grounds. The condo itself is on the 12th floor with a beautiful balcony and great views of the ocean. The white sand beach has many shells and beautiful sunsets. The condo was very clean and felt like “home away from home.” The property manager was very nice and accommodating and made the check in check out process super easy! Will definitely be staying here again soon!!

I booked Marco Island Vacation Rentals. From my initial inquiry to the day I dropped the keys off, I can honestly say how impressed I was with the agency. They answered all of my questions, assisted with ordering a baby bed and highchair, responded appropriately with maintenance calls, etc. They were great to work with. The property was extremely clean. The agency helped scheduled weekly cleanings during my stay. This was awesome since I didn't have time to clean, launder linens, etc because I was busy taking one group to the airport and picking up other family and friends. It was a busy time for me. We enjoyed visiting the local restaurants (Marco, Isles of Capri and Goodland), attractions (Naples Zoo, Big Cypress National Preserve, Wednesday Farmer's Market), and the Marco Pedal Boat was a huge hit. I did make a trip to the grocery store the first night I arrived to pick up essentials (coffee, salt/pepper and the like). I look forward to returning next year and hopefully will stay longer.

I found the kitchen to be outdated as there were stainless steel pots and pans which are extremely hard to clean and maintain. Dishes were a miss mash of various types. Coffee pot was old and outdated and above the sink the bottom of the cabinet was sloughing off unfinished material. The condo was in dire need of being made more homey. It was starkly decorated and needed a paint job as there were areas that looked like it had been patch painted. Loved the location and view from balcony. The pool was exceptional and extremely maintained. We would recommend South Seas to everyone. Restaurants were first class and we enjoyed as many as we could. The grilling area was undesirable. It was a ways from the units, grass wasn’t mowed, tables were dirty, trash cans were full and it was located against a slough so the bugs were awful. It was also the designated smoking area which made those that smoked that the area represented their attitude about smokers. Guests like to grill out and there was no lighting or any amenities to make it a nice place to eat. Marco Island was beyond words. The beach was indescribable and so clean. Shells, shells, and more shells. We would go back there but would like to see our unit before accepting. Possibly pictures of units would be helpful. Didn’t exactly know the owners as we only spoke with them seldom. Check in and check out was simple and easy. There was construction noise and lots of places roped off but we were forewarned that would be the case. Laundry facilities were slim and expensive so we used the local laundromat which was so nice and clean. And we could do all of our laundry much cheaper and much faster.

The room was clean and had a great view. My only complaint was the smart TV was difficult as it constantly loaded when trying to use Netflix or Youtube movies. Hopefully the weather is beautiful enough that you do not need the TV. Unfortunately it rained a lot during my stay so I used it a lot. Walking distance to Joeys and Doreens which both have AMAZING food!We went to each place twice. Pickleball courts on site to use. The community had an open play nearly every day we were there which was so much fun. The gate was run by someone 24 hours and everyone was so friendly. Every question was answered promptly by the property management. They would message or call in hopes to assist when needed. I would recommend for sure!

It’s about a 10 minute walk from the complex on the sand. The sand is white and reflects the heat so bring water, sunscreen and a hat. The pool area is clean and maintained. Grounds/beach A+. Unit=lots of missed details. Welcome text missing pertinent information for after hours check-in, Dirty walls/floor, no sharp knives, no dish soap, off track/torn screen door, patio door would not lock, no safe, no food storage containers, no oven mitts, very cheap paper towels/toilet paper, broken beach umbrellas, 2 broken beach chairs, inefficient wagon (impossible to pull in the sand), distance to beach would be a huge issue for anyone with health concerns, hazardous hair dryers for anyone with long hair (no filter/guard on fan), disintegrating platforms under king mattress were very noisy to the point we thought the bed was going to collapse. The bare minimum was taken on the part of the property owner to ensure an unforgettable experience. Marco Island is beautiful, several wonderful dining experiences but will look elsewhere for accommodations if we come back.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: At first we were taken aback by the multiple steps in registering but we realize if we come again, it will be easy to remember. The window of time to get the packet, 3pm and then register at Tower 3 by 4pm is unrealistic given the line up at the guard gate and his slowness in the process. We also found the gentleman at South Seas Tower 3 registration has an unpleasant demeanor and wonder if Marco Vacation Properties employs him and understands how important a friendly greeting is when you arrive for your vacation. The Welcome Center staff were wonderful! We enjoyed our condo, even though it has very few wall hangings and lacks an extra chair or two in the living room. It doesn't feel like a place the owners ever live in. It also would be nice to have a waist high table on the patio as my husband would like to sit out there with a laptop and watch the beach and pool activity. Having mentioned these factors, we actually loved our stay. The view was wonderful, the kitchen spacious, the laundry room convenient, check out easy, and guests all friendly. We would come back in a heart beat! I would like to thank Marco Vacation Property staff!

Beautiful View

My spouse and I stayed here after our island was destroyed by Ian. We felt like we could finally relax for the first time and this unit was perfect to make us feel like we were home verses hotel hopping. We had all the comforts we needed and the staff was phenomenal. Marco Island in general is one of the friendliest islands in Florida. I would definitely recommend.

We had a fantastic week in Marco Island. The condo was the perfect size for our family of five. We appreciated the kitchen and ability to cook our meals, the beds/sofa bed, and all the beach gear. It was so nice to walk down to the pool or ocean! We all loved sitting on the balcony!

A Week in the Warmth

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent a week in Marco at the South Seas complex. The complex is older but well kept. Our 2 br condo was nice but again older and lacking in a few areas. While the kitchen was recently renovated, the rest of the condo was a bit dated. Some of the closet doors weren’t attached. A window blind was missing at the entrance. I wish there we a couple suitcase holders in the closet so our bags weren’t on the floor. Batteries were missing from the TV remote. It’s the little things that matter. The property management company was very communicative and our after hours checkin was easy. We enjoyed our stay in Marco but would try a different condo next time.

We always have a few meals in Naples and enjoy Italian meals at Campiello's and Amore's. On Marco, we love the Island Gypsy cafe and Ciao Bella. We would definitely rent again from Marco Island vacation properties as they were so responsive to our needs. The unit we rented was good but not up to the standard of others we have rented. The kitchen has been remodeled and is very nice.

February 2020 Stay

Condo’s kitchen was newly remodeled which was a nice surprise! Very bright and clean! On the bad side, very noisy from 8 to 5 each day! Windows and doors were being replaced in the building. We went to the beautiful beach each day to get away from the chipping and drilling. Weather was awesome for our stay! Hope to be back next year and construction will be complete!
