This was the perfect place to get away! With things to do for the kiddos from the lake activities, to the game shed, to the bikes, we really found no reason to need to go to town except for food.
This is such a cozy cute little cabin!! The host made it so easy to understand everything and made sure if we had any questions it was easy to get a hold of him. We will definitely be back! 10/10
This. Place. Is. Awesome. Highly recommend if you’re going to CDA, either alone, as a couple, or with a large group. Everything was clean, fun, and awesome. Can’t wait to go back!
We had a great time at this property! Lots of very thoughtful details that made our stay enjoyable. Be sure you understand that the cabin itself is not lakefront but requires crossing a road and going down a set of stairs with a few switchbacks to get to the dock. Not an issue if you don’t have any limitations, just something to be aware of. Very clean and comfortable.

Hi Jeni, thanks for your review! Am I understanding that you didn't realize it wasn't lakefront? I do my best in the listing description and pics to show that a road must be crossed and a 70 step trail must be navigated. We also price lower accordingly, even though there are no other lakefront rental homes on the northshore of Lake CDA, close to downtown. All others are either long drives down highways along the east and west shores, or along the Spokane River outlet. This said, we're hoping to build a new rental home on the lakefront side someday soon :-)
Loved the location of the cabin! There is a very nice bike trail right across from the cabin that runs all along the lakeshore! Many people bike this path all day long! I took long walks every morning and enjoyed the most beautiful scenery of the lake! The lakefront and dock are very nice! My husband spent hours fishing off the dock! Really the only downfall would be the steep stairs to the lakefront! The Cabin is convenient to town! This cabin is a great place for a group with tons of activities for everyone along with plenty of parking!
Eagle Outpost was amazing! I would highly recommend and am hopeful to return. The cabin is cozy, full of character and very functional. Lots of options for fun activities on the lake or at the cabin. Thanks, Brian!
Our family loved this cabin. Remote but close to town. My daughters enjoyed having their own space in the bunkhouse. We played ping pong, enjoyed the lake, walked the trail, and sat by the camp fire. It was super relaxing.
This was our 29th anniversary getaway weekend and it was wonderful! A welcoming environment, our dog was welcome, the view of the lake was great, the bed in the loft so comfy, the hot tub set up just right to soak and enjoy the sunset over the lake, and the access to the private dock, all wonderful. We would return and I highly recommend to my friends! Thank you!
It was amazing, everything was just as described if not better! the main Cabin was really cool and although seeming small it was very spacious! The hot tub was great and so was the lake access!
Our stay was absolutely lovely. The cabin was clean and quaint and homey. It has a rustic feel, which I love. There were comfy couches with throw pillows and blankets to curl up on. The bed was comfortable and I loved the sheets!!! Given it was February when we stayed, we did walk across the road and down to the beach but didn't spend any time on the water. The hot tub was delightful. We enjoyed it both evenings we were there. Brian is an exceptional host and hope that staying in CDA fits into our plans in the future.
Such a cute and cozy place to stay. Wished we could have stayed longer. Lake was incredible, kids didn’t care that the water was cold. Water toys and game room were fun! We really enjoyed this property, it was very unique.
