Not what I expected
1.)It started with paying for the complete stay through Affirm. The whole amount was charged against my Affirm account. It became very difficult to speak to someone to get it straightened out. For some reason, a partial of the payment was returned to affirm.A Representative from Vrbo told me I needed to contact the property manager. My understanding was and always has been that’s why I pay VRBO to make it hassle free.2.) The representative from VRBO contacted the property manager and had her to contact me. I was informed that the affirm credit card that I used was declining the additional payment. I told the property manager that I would look into it,again not hassle free!3.) After contacting affirm, they explained to me that there was no way that they could charge the additional amount because it already charged it and it had been refunded. And the representative from a firm said, I could fill out for another credit card and use it at that point in time. I use my American Express again. Not hassle free.4.) Upon arrival I was informed that I needed to pay five dollars per day for parking per vehicle. The ad represented free parking.5.) I have stayed in several condos with my family through the years. I’ve owned timeshares through Blue Green and Marriott. The cabin had a bad smell.We went and bought air freshener to get the smell out, but it kept returning. The Jets on the Jacuzzi was filled with debris.
