This is the third time we have stayed at this property in Port Fairy. Very affordable 4 bedroom house . Basic but clean . Only one bathroom and toilet but price reflects that . Walking distance to Pea Soup Beach , lots of other walking options too !

So glad you enjoyed your time. Look forward to seeing you again.
Clean and tidy, great location.
Langley's were easy to contact and responded promptly when an issue was reported.
The addition of a fence to close off the back garden and an outdoor setting would take this property to the next level.

Long weekend
Great communication and easy access. Plenty of parking room. No air con which was a surprise these days and we were very lucky it was a mild weekend. Small cleanliness issues with a bottom sheet found to be soiled and mould around a sliding door.
Could do with a bit of a spruce up but overall great spot and fairly priced.

Hi Jenni. Thanks for taking the time to review Julieanne and glad you enjoyed your stay. I am so sorry about the bottom sheet, that is definitely not something we are happy with. We would have been more than happy to send a team out to change it, as mentioned when you checked in please don't hesitate to call if there is ever a issue. We are here to help.
Most of the houses in Port Fairy don't usually have air conditioning. We are lucky here in Port Fairy that the cool change comes through on hot days mid afternoon which makes a huge difference to the temperature.
Look forward to seeing you again in the future.

Good location
Unfortunately we had issues with the toilet not working twice, once on the first day. Had to call for help 4 times before it worked and take the family into town to use public toilets. Same issue again today.
Smoke alarm went off each time we cooked toast in the morning, very sensitive alarm.
Overall stay was good, we enjoyed our stay.

Hi Anna. Glad you enjoyed your stay and I do apologise again for the issue with the toilet. It is a simple fix when the rain tank runs out as explained in the first phonecall although I understand you were nervous about it and as long as the tank is filled the issue does not reoccur. I will ask someone to pop around and check the smoke alarm and double check that. Look forward to seeing you again in Port Fairy and hopefully for a more stress free holiday!
The property was not properly maintained and when we reported the issues, the property manager was loke ok we will get them fixed.

Hi Melissa. You reported issues at the property after you vacated which does mean there is not much we can do baring inventing a time machine to go back and help you during your stay. Although we try our best by guests that feat would be beyond us I'm afraid. You mentioned the rangehood sparked but actually what occurred was the light blew which we replaced and fixed the light switch that had been damaged. You also mentioned a globe was out which we hold spares for in the office and would have been happy to run one around. Your 3 issues were easy repairs and we would have been happy to get them sorted straight away for you. Next time please feel free to contact the office on arrival if you are unhappy. We are here to help but only if you let us know.

Hi Jeremy & Andrea. I do apologise for the 1hr 1/4 delay in your entry. Unfortunately we had a number of house keepers off sick which did put a strain on the rest of the team but this is not your issue so I can only apologise for the late entry. We would have been happy to give you a late check out, please don't ever hesitate to call if you are unhappy with anything.
We have had the tables, chairs and lounge checked by our tradie but they seem to be stable although I have requested he add some extra support. Julieanne is a great budget friendly choice for Port Fairy at $50 a head per night but if you choose to return again feel free to contact us directly and we can find you the perfect home for your stay.
Very affordable accommodation in great coastal location, however furniture needs desperate upgrading
Very uncomfortable beds, couch falling apart and almost unusable, house sleeps 9, but only 6 seats at dining table, 2 of which were practically broken. Great coastal location and quiet area though. Not very family friendly with no yard or closed in area for children to play. Front porch/balcony also seems unsafe with no balustrade.

Hi Zoe. Thanks for taking the time to review Julieanne and so sorry you did not enjoy your stay. I will pass your comments about the beds to the owner as well as the couch. We have recently upgraded two but I will suggest they look at the third. I'm unware of the chair issues but will ask the cleaners to check them next time they are in. The pictures do show the yard is not enclosed but it is a large area which does prove popular with families, especially good for a spot of footie. This is an extremely budget friendly property which is reflective in the tariff but if you ever arrive at a property and are unhappy please do not hesitate to call, we are here to help where we can.
We stayed for 4 nights at Julieanne. Key pick up was easy through Langley's and communication was good. The property was clean and had towels and linen included. The water was nice and hot and didn't run out despite the kids having a shower after swimming at the beach. The house is a short walk to Pea Soup Beach and a short drive to East Beach and town. It was quite warm the day we arrived at the house and we probably could have done with a fan during the day, however, there is a cool breeze at night if you open the windows. There was plenty of space for our family.

Hi Amanda. Thanks for your review and we are glad you enjoyed your time at Julieanne. I will pass on your suggestion of a fan to the owners. You are right about the mid afternoon breeze, we are very lucky in Port Fairy that despite the heat you can almost guarantee a cooler night with the lovely sea breeze. Hope to see you again soon!
