The location is absolutely wonderful. Not as crazy as Hensley Beach but just perfect. Nice eateries. Beach is truly just a few steps. Tram also just a few steps. Building itself is older apartment building not very inviting. Apartment has all you need. Top floor and you can see the ocean from both bedrooms and entranceway.
Everything was available to make this a memorable stay for us. Yes thereās a climb of a few sets of stairs but once youāve arrived itās a perfect spot to relax and enjoy.
We had a lovely stay. Being on the top floor there was no noise which was great. Only one Street back from Beach which was fantastic as I love to walk. We also loved being right near the train station so didnāt need the car. Overall a lovely break.
Compact and comfortable with everything we needed. Beach towels and coffee machine much appreciated.
Clean windows to look out at the fabulous view would have made it perfect.
Great Beachside Base for Visiting Family and Friends
Lovely property by Grange beach. All mod cons, coffee machine for us coffee snobs, comfortable, clean and easy access to beach and city. A few more storage places to unpack clothes would have made it perfect, otherwise, highly recommended

The apartment was comfortable and in a great location for the beach and for trips into Adelaide by train. A walk or bus ride from Henley Square where there are several good places to eat, Grange has fewer. We can recommend the apartment, but be aware of concrete steps up to the third floor, not well lit at night.

Lovely apartment decorated wonderfully as a beachside cabin. Great space and even better location. Wonderfull cafe on the beach a block away. Must climb stairs two levels to enter, fine, but be aware. As a beach cabin would benefit by including a couple of beach chairs. We loved and would definitely go back.

What an amazing apartment overlooking the beach. Clean, very well equipped for self catering purposes and plenty of household items available right away which made our stay very relaxing. Super host Belinda was only a message away if we needed her for anything and would reply within minutes. We felt every need was met and i cannot over emphasise how close this property is to the beach. Absolutely bliss. Thank you to Belinda for making our stay super special
A wonderful week here, close to Train and Bus meant we didn't need a car. Only challenge was the restoration going on next door, with the tradies singing along to the radio early in the morning. Good thing about that is they are nearly finished so unlikely to have anything similar for many years to come. Thank you for a great stay

It was disappointing with so much luggage to find that we had 6 flights of stairs to climb to reach our apartment. The apartment itself was terrific for what we needed but the stairs and the parking was a bit ordinary. Definitely need to show the steps in your online advertising - it is very negligent not to. We struggled with our baggage going up and down but you must consider older tenants.

So we are clearly telling everyone the apartment is on the 4th floor and is only accessible by stairs. The trade off is the wonderful views and I am glad that enjoyed your stay other than the stairs and I sorry that you missed this detail when you booked.

Nice apartment. Not for small children or elderly. Stairs are dangerous.
The doors need to be fixed. Security and main door. Both the locks and the tracks⦠we struggled to get into the property. After the locksmith came and fixed the security door we still had problems. However, we were on the 4 floor and felt confident no one was coming up the stairs to break into a holiday rental.
The windows need to cleaned. The view would be magnificent.
The host was very helpful when we had an issue.

Thank you for staying with us and I am so sorry we had issues with the doors. It seems when then locksmith replaced the lock.the new barrel was too wide and left little to no room for the 2 handles to pass each other. We have had him back to fit the correct size lock and repair the tracks, so both the doors work perfectly again. I am also sorry the windows were dirty. We had some storms recently and our cleaner cannot clean the windows every clean as there is not enough time. We have them on a monthly schedule when we have a day clear and the are booked in for next week. Thanks again for staying with us we loved providing a place for your family to build holiday memories. The Apartment was comfortable for our family of 4. Second bedroom can accommodate 2-3 kids with bunk. Central bathroom with washer/dryer convenient including shampoo, soaps and heaps of towels! Kitchen was functional and included Pantry items. Beds were comfortable. Sadly the second TV in the kids bedroom didn't work, but the main TV did & includes Netflix. Beware of the stairs. Clearly communicated in the description and a reality when you have to carry many bags up & down. The onsite car park is convenient, despite the very steep driveway access (eek!) plentiful parking off street. Close Walking distance to the grange hotel and beach, likewise to local take-aways. Short 5min drive to local supermarkets and Henely beach. Location was quiet and ideal for us. Apartment is slightly older style, but owners have done a great job to modernise and provide creature comforts. Owners were easy to coomunicate with and mostly prompt & helpful.

Family stay
Lovely location in Grange and not too far to walk to the beautiful beach. We stayed for 4 nights as a family. We struggled to find the parking but once located it was nice to have a park. Cafe at the beach and eateries close by. We could also walk to the train station within 5 minutes. The stairs were tricky with luggage and the low height of the stair entry. The views from the balcony were lovely, not directly to the beach but has parts of the beach and city. We watched a thunderstorm roll in and cruise ships departing on the horizon. The balcony is a shared balcony too so need to be mindful of the other tenants and there was bee's hive in the apartment wall next to us that possibly will be an issue later down the track. We found the apartment to have everything we needed; the air con was great and kept us cool. However, the whole place does need a good deep clean and the main bedroom mattress either needs replaced or flipped as its sunken in the middle. A blind in the second bedroom would also be beneficial. After a decent clean and tending to the wear and tear would bring this little apartment back from a 3-star rating for us. Overall, the value for money was good. Thank you

Thank you again for staying with us As we are remote hosts I raised your issues with our cleaner who has apologised and advised she has had a new team doing our cleaning and that she has had issues with this team. She will not be using this team for cleaning our property again. I am sorry that the apartment was not 5 star clean and if you had of raised this with me upon check in I would have sent the cleaner back through to rectify the issues..

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and recommend it. The host had gone out of their way to decorate for Christmas and that was a thoughtful touch. For a small space, they have done a great job setting up. It's a 2 bedroom apartment on the top floor. We were 5 people, so we ended up having the extra mattress set up with extra linens in the living room for our 6 year old. I wish they did that in advance, but we managed.PROS: the host was kind, thoughtful, and responsive. We had a struggle checking in but she was responding despite it being after 11pm. The coffee maker was a morning miracle and the place felt clean and fresh. It's a small space with one bathroom, but it was just enough. We were thankful for the window coverings and curtains. The area was cute. Areas for improvement: We had a major struggle finding parking after arriving in the evening. There was a massive crane occupying our parking space in the back, and the visitor spaces were taken. It took a significant amount of driving around to find street parking. Be careful of street parking - we happened to witness a city bus swipe the corner of another parked car! There is no lift (stairs only as described), but the real problem was figuring out how to get to the apartment. It is not marked well. You need to go through a fire door and the entrance is a sliding door. In all the confusion, we had residents of another apartment yell at us from their window, which set a sour tone for the stay. Why they chose this property
Growing up our annual family holiday was always at the Beach in Adelaide, about a block away from our place. We had such great times in this part of the world that when the opportunity arose, we thought it was perfect place to provide a space where families can create their holiday memories with endless sunset walks on the beach.
What makes this property unique
Having stayed in a lot of BnBs we have tried to create a space that is calming and relaxing but remains functionable. We have tried to include everything from cooking equipment and coffee machine to a washing machine so that your holiday experience is complete.
