A comfortable modern yet rustic cabin for the two of us to have some rest and relaxation away from home. Cabin was clean and ready when we arrived and the host hosts were quick to answer any questions we had.

Beautiful cabin

Loved the cabin. The back deck with the fireplace and hot tub were perfect for some much needed R&R. Great location, close to the lake and several places to eat. Really enoyed our stay.

Beautiful property for anniversary getaway

The pictures do not do this property justice. It was a gorgeous cabin equipped with everything you needed. It is very close to great restuarants and brewery. We would definitely stay here again.

Charming and Cozy

The Birdhouse is a lovely cabin tucked in the pines. Perfect for us and our pooch. The Christmas tree was a nice surprise! Would definitely stay there again.

Fabulous secluded romantic cabin in the woods!

We loved this cabin. Very well decorated. Super clean and all the amenities we were looking for! Purchase firewood before getting to cabin.

We loved it!

We loved our stay and enjoyed getting out of town for a bit. The cabin was exactly as advertised, clean and in good repair. We did not have any complaints with the cabin and found it to actually be nicer than in the pictures. Perfect getaway for a couple looking to enjoy time together.

Absolute Gem

Extremely comfortable set up, location and amenities. Extremely comfortable bed and overall layout. Close enough to the "action" yet just far enough away to really feel secluded. Best of both worlds and very well maintained unit. Highly recommend and we will be back without a doubt.

Cozy, relaxing retreat

A wonderful place to disconnect from the hustle and bustle. The modern feel and decor mixed with a mountain cabin charm. Well furnished and equipped with anything you might need. The hot tub by the outdoor fireplace was a wonderful way to end the day after visiting the local eateries and breweries. The owners were very easy to work with and provided all information needed for an easy check in and out process. It is worth a return visit in the future.

Made for a great honeymoon!

The property is beautiful! My husband and I stayed for three nights. The cabin is even more beautiful in person. We enjoyed dinner outside next to the outdoor fireplace. The only complaint I have is that I wish there were more kitchen utensils. We made dinner for two nights and needed a baking sheet but were able to compromise with some foil. That is a super minor detail and didn’t take away from our overall experience at all. We loved staying here!

Wonderful property

We loved our stay at the Birdhouse. It had everything that we needed while we enjoyed our "babymoon" before our baby comes. Thank you for the stay, we will definitely be back! *One thing that I would suggest would be really great for the cabin, would be to have a gate at the top of the stairs on the back deck. (For a baby, or a dog) so that they can't go down the stairs. That would be my only change. Thanks!

Wish this was my permanent residence

We finally found a place we would return to again and again. The home was meticulously clean, including the outdoor furnishings. The living room furniture and bed were very comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. We felt like the lot was large enough and treed for privacy. We enjoyed an evening walk around the neighborhood admiring all the different cabins. We didn't want to spend too much time away from this place so we picked up a pizza from The Grateful Head and brought it back to the cabin to eat. The only improvement I can see would be to have a swing on the covered front porch.

Anniversary/Birthday getaway

This was the most beautiful, cozy cabin for 2. We celebrated our 5 year anniversary the first night. Delicious wagyu ribeye from the Mountain Man Meat Market, grilled it at the cabin, champagne, had deer walking through the property while we sat around the fire pit. Finished up with the hottub. It was amazing. Friends joined the next day for birthday celebration with cornhole and a walk to Shuck Me where we enjoyed fish and chips, crawfish poboy, aligator, and more. Great live music at 6pm. Walked back to the cabin for more time enjoyed around the firepit. 10/10
