When coming to the cabin it was dark and the outside light wasn’t visible and we had to use flashlights to get inside. We was informed the day before arriving the hot tub had an issue and wouldn’t be fixed until the day after we leave. The cabin itself was nice and clean. We had plenty of room. Overall it was a good vacation and the cabin was great. Hosts was responsive during the booking and didn’t need to contact them at all.

We apologize for the inconvenience with the exterior lighting and the hot tub being unavailable during your stay. We understand how important those amenities are when planning a getaway and appreciate your understanding. We’re also happy to hear you found communication and the booking process to be smooth. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for another Smoky Mountain stay!

Excellent location!Size & layout of cabin were perfect for our family. Quiet neighbors.Cleanliness was mediocre: I felt I needed to wipe all counters & table surfaces. Cabin could use a good deep clean. There was deferred maintenance: for example, a jagged edge on a dresser & bunk beds were not properly aligned (both potential safety issues), blinds missing a slat here & there. All in all, however, it worked well for our family.

Great stay for families

We stayed here for spring break. It was far enough off the main drag to be peaceful, but close enough to everything to be convenient. The rooms were spacious and comfy, everyone in our party had their own space without feeling cramped. The voews are spectacular! It is great for families or friends getaways.

Great place for a family!

Close to Dollywood and Gaitlinburg both! We loved the privacy of the cabin -- great downstairs for kids and parents, a loft for a teenaged boy, a master with privacy and its own large heart-shaped tub, and yet another room downstairs on the main level. It was perfect accommodations for us!

The host addressed questions/concerns in a very timely manner. The view was beautiful. We enjoyed to hot tub though we had to wait a few hours for it to warm up. The kids weren’t excited about that! lol. One family with our group shared some small cleaning concerns. It met ours needs.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the beautiful view and that communication was timely. We appreciate your patience with the hot tub heating time, we drain, clean & refill the hot tub between each guest—those first few hours can be tough, especially for excited kids 😊. Thank you as well for sharing the feedback about the cleaning concerns; we take that seriously and will address it with our cleaning team. We’re happy the home met your needs and hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future!
