This house delivers some of the best ocean views on the coast. The entire house has been renovated from floor to ceiling. Custom craftsmen woodwork throughout the house including beautifully restored vintage oak flooring, pine ceilings, redwood craftsmen bathrooms including redwood slab counter tops and heated porcelain floors. Radiant heating provides steady and stable heat throughout the house. Each room has a radiator and each bathroom has a heated towel rack. You will also love the magnificent Arizona stone fireplace central to house with free firewood to build that open cozy fire for those that enjoy that warm and pleasant ambiance.

Perfect Long Weekend Stay

The ocean views from this house are incredible: you can watch the waves rolling in for hours. And the house is very clean and comfortable with many updated features and everything you need to enjoy your stay. It was a perfect base camp for a Redwoods-oriented vacation. We would stay here again if we’re back in Crescent City.

The house was beautiful, well stocked and felt like home. Beds were very comfortable and the view and location were amazing. We enjoyed the beach, just steps away, and with just a few minutes drive we were in Jedidiah Smith walking in the redwoods and enjoying the crystal clear waters of Smith River. Highly Recommend!!

Our stay here was incredible! The house was super comfortable and had everything we needed. It was so convenient to walk down to the beach. The best part is the view - we loved looking out at the ocean while we drank coffee in the mornings and watching the fog roll in in the afternoon.

This charming cottage was absolutely perfect! Excellent views, everything you need was provided, and it was spacious with comfortable beds. The owners even provide binoculars for sea watching, and colored pencils and paper for drawing. I could add much more but check it out for yourself. Would definitely stay here again!

Why they chose this property

The house was passed down to the family from Phil’s Grandparents who were long term residents of Crescent City. Growing up our family spent most summers at the house with many great memories enjoying barbecues at the beach and taking advantage of the nearby smith river and many beautiful redwood forest hiking trails.

What makes this property unique

This house sits on a bluff with phenomenal views of the coastline and the Battery Point Lighthouse. The house is only ten short yards from public beach access and offers many opportunities for spontaneous trips to the beach.
