Hurricane Holiday

I love Eden Condominiums — used to own a unit there. That’s why my friends and I chose it for our 4-day stay. The first two days were great; then Hurricane Sally decided to change direction and hit this area. The building is “a fortress” and withstood the storm well, but it was definitely scary. Perdido Key fared much better than Gulf Shores, Orange Beach and Pensacola. My only disappointment was that all condo personnel left the premises the afternoon before the storm hit. No storm safety protocol nor information given to guests that remained. A security guard arrived at some point, and he was as helpful as possible. All in all, however, Eden has the best location and amenities in this vicinity!
