Whether you’re here for a romantic getaway, a celebration, or a workation with fast WiFi, the experience is immersive, peaceful, and entirely unlike a traditional stay. Stunning views surround you—from the architecture itself to the natural beauty of Austin just beyond.

Inside, flowing architecture replaces traditional walls, creating a space that feels more like a work of art than a home. Natural light pours in, cozy seating invites you to unwind, and every corner offers something new to discover.



The primary bedroom is warm, sculptural, and deeply relaxing, while additional sleeping spaces and cozy nooks provide flexibility for small families or extra guests.



Step outside onto your private deck for morning coffee in the trees or a quiet evening surrounded by nature. It feels secluded and peaceful, yet you’re just minutes from downtown Austin, Lake Austin, and some of the city’s best dining.



The kitchen is fully equipped with custom woodwork and everything you need to cook and gather. Fast WiFi makes it easy to extend your stay into a work-from-home escape without missing a beat.



Originally designed in the 1970s by two UT architecture students, The Bloomhouse was built as a rebellion against traditional design—an organic structure meant to live in harmony with its surroundings. Thoughtfully restored, it now offers modern comfort while preserving its original vision.



Please note: Due to the unique architecture, curves, and open design, The Bloomhouse is not suitable for children under 5.



Guest Access:

You have rented the entire home to yourself. A unique code will be provided a day prior to arrival.



The Neighborhood:

Welcome to Austin’s Westlake area, where winding roads, wooded hills, and peaceful surroundings make it hard to believe you’re so close to the heart of the city.



The Bloomhouse is tucked away on approximately 2.5 private acres, giving you a wonderfully secluded setting while keeping Austin’s most-loved destinations within easy driving distance.



Eats & Drinks: Head toward Westlake, downtown, South Lamar, or South Congress for some of Austin’s best restaurants, coffee shops, cocktail bars, and live music. This is a peaceful residential setting, so plan to drive or rideshare when heading out for dinner or drinks.



Nature & Outdoors: You’re surrounded by the natural beauty that makes this part of Austin special. The wooded hills around The Bloomhouse create a peaceful escape of their own, while Zilker Park, Barton Springs, Lady Bird Lake, and Austin’s beloved outdoor spaces are an easy drive away.



Austin Adventures: Spend the day exploring downtown, Barton Springs, Zilker Park, South Congress, or the shops and restaurants along South Lamar, then wind your way back into the hills to your own little world.



Good to Know: The Bloomhouse feels wonderfully removed from the bustle of Austin, and that’s part of its magic. This is a car-friendly location rather than a walkable neighborhood, so we recommend having a vehicle or using rideshare to explore the city.



Getting Around:

The nearest international airport is Austin (AUS) 16 miles | 23 km away. We recommend having a car to fully explore the plethora of nearby attractions. However, there is Uber and Lyft in Austin as well, if you prefer.



Other Things to Note:

A signed Rental Agreement is required upon booking confirmation.



We provide starter essentials including soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toilet paper, and trash bags. These items are not replenished during your stay.



Due to the unique architecture, The Bloomhouse is not suitable for children under 5.



Daily housekeeping is not included. Mid-stay cleanings may be arranged in advance for an additional fee.

• Primary guest must be 25+ to book

• No smoking of any kind inside the home

• No parties, events, or illegal activities

• Quiet hours from 10 PM to 7 AM. Please respect the neighbors

• Only registered guests are permitted on the property

Commercial shoots, promotional content, non-family-friendly content, and sharing the home’s exact location are not permitted without prior approval and licensing. Please reach out before booking to discuss.
