Location was perfect for our trip to Ann Arbor and day tripping to Detroit. House was perfect size for family of 5 and two small dogs. We would stay here again while in Michigan.
Very convenient location and wonderful house awaits you. Lovely roomy backyard and all the essentials. Look elsewhere for fanciness but this house has all you need for a stay for 2-4 adults (plus young kids).
This was an excellent choice for our needs! Great central location, very clean house that was very well stocked and a reasonable price! I loved the homey feel of the house and amenities! We were there during a snow storm and felt very safe and comfortable! We cooked breakfast and lunch here daily, then enjoyed some recommended dinner outings thanks to the book left on the coffee table by the owner! We had 3 college kids and 2 adults, and loved this place! Thank you Ann, we will be back!
As advertised and clean. Unfortunately the home was impacted by a city wide power outage. Anna was incredibly responsive and accommodating. Would certainly consider again in the future.
The TV worked for about 30 minutes the day we got there and would not work after that. The stairs were very dirty going into the basement. The upstairs was very warm.
We are from Texas. We are use to hot but…. Beds were uncomfortable. Looked forward to getting to our next vacation stop in hopes the beds were very small and we are small people.
This was a great property for a short girls trip.
Pros: The rooms are small, but with comfortable beds and bedding. The living room area was really comfortable and spacious. There was enough parking for 4 cars. The host was very thoughtful with great communication and willingness to help with whatever we needed. There were good amenities in the house that made us feel right at home.
Cons: it did smell a bit like wet dog and there was fur in the rugs from a previous guest(s). The trash was overflowing in the bin in the driveway with tons of flies swarming around it. The bathtub was slow to drain.
Overall, I'd recommend this house to any friends or family.
Needs more kitchen chairs, kitchen utensils, and fix kitchen faucet. You can find some good deals at Kiwanis thrift sale.
Overall the house served us well. Just some TLC.

We rented this home for our daughters graduation from UM.
The home had a fun , eclectic vibe to it. Very comfortable with plenty of space for the 5 of us. We had wanted to use the backyard, but the weather was not good. The lawn was not tended to, but it was a nice space. It is a short walk to an amazing park with lots of trails and beauty. Very comfortable and fun staying there.
We gathered for grandma’s birthday amid COVID so we enjoyed the outdoor table so we could enjoy dinner in the garden. The kitchen isn’t really equipped for much cooking but we managed. Grandma wished there were railings at the front or back door but since she was just visiting us there we made it work. Only one bathroom for several adults reminded us how spoiled we are but the house was charming and in a good location and welcomed our son’s dog!
We had a very comfortable stay in this home during our Ann Arbor visit. It was wonderful to find upon arrival a sweet note from the owner welcoming us with a nice bottle of wine. The house has only one bathroom, but this one is ample, with good cabinets to place our things, has a good amount of thick towels, as well as shampoos and body gel. Also, it was great to find a good coffee machine with a great selection of coffees and teas for us to enjoy. The house is very well located and it was easy to move around.
Ann was very helpful and made our stay easy and comfortable.
I highly recommend this beautiful home and we'll definitely stay here again next time we are in town.
The house was very clean and the window air conditioners cooled this cozy home right away. There were ample towels in the bathroom and the kitchen had everything we needed for a short stay. The location was a relatively short drive to downtown A2. The owners were helpful and easy to communicate with.

About the host
Hosted by Anna Milanowski
Hello! My name is Anna Milanowski. I moved to Ann Arbor for undergraduate studies and loved the town so much I made it my permanent home. I am an elementary teacher here in Ann Arbor. My husband Nick, our dog Watson and I love to take advantage of the great parks here in the city as well as hang out downtown.
Why they chose this property
We've taken time to make this home a place where you can feel comfortable and relax. It has enough space in the living room and kitchen to spend time with a larger group, but also three cozy bedrooms to retire to. This house is near great, local Ann Arbor shops and restaurants, while still not being too far from downtown.
What makes this property unique
On-site parking, herb-garden in backyard, and host that live right in town to help as needed!
