About this property

Self-contained, comfortable and modern studio guest room is independently accessed from outside. We welcome up to 2 guests at a time.

Located ground level, private studio guest room is attached to our home but is securely locked-off so private for you. We are in a quiet residential area, in a new subdivision.

Close to Shotover Jet, Coronet Peak and the Onsen Hot Pools. The heart of Queenstown is 5km away with picturesque Arrowtown is only 15kms away.

Features a microwave, fridge, wardrobe, comfortable Queen size bed, TV, great heating plus en-suite bathroom (own use) with privacy from the main house.

Self-drive is recommended though the bus links Arthurs Point with Queenstown and beyond. Free wi-fi and free parking. We are located 400 metres from the bus stop (or 200 metres across the park). Our friendly modern, neighbourhood is home to families and executive business people.

There are spectacular views of surrounding mountains which, during the winter, can be dusted in snow.

The Shotover River flows through Arthurs Point. During the gold rush of the 1860's it was renowned for as one of the richest rivers in the area. Today, the river is home to the famous Shotover Jet boat ride (base is only 1km from your accommodation).

During the winter months (June-September) ski or ride at Queenstown's original ski area, Coronet Peak, which is only 10.2km from your accommodation. Their transport bus service picks up/drops off from a bus stop only 400 metres from your accommodation.

Perfect

What a perfect spot for me to settle in and get some work done. I had excellent internet and and all the basics. It was lovely to meet Trish and her labradoodle Webster even spent a whole afternoon with me!

Wonderful place to stay

My partner and I spent a few nights here after attending a wedding just outside of Queenstown. It is in a beautiful location and so close to Queenstown. Trish was so lovely and welcoming and had the cutest dog. Would definitely stay again.

Trish and Peter are both involved in the tourism industry, working in Queenstown.

We've travelled to many places in the world but call New Zealand home.

Peter grew up in Dunedin and has spent time living overseas in London and Perth.

Trish grew up near Christchurch and has travelled extensively through Asia, Australia and beyond.

We share our home with our labradoodle - Webster.

Our property is located in a new subdivision near Queenstown.

We build our home, with the attached private studio, in 2017.

The location is very quite - all residential homes - is conveniently located to Queenstown (about 5km) and is surrounded by mountains.

Your private studio is very quiet, fresh and modern. Although attached to the home you are completely independent with your own entrance.
