Located in historic upscale Buena Vista, just 5 minutes to Wake Forest U, both hospitals, Downtown, Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, famous and unique breweries, fine dining, shopping, hiking.

This is our guest suite located on the lower level with a ton of natural light. We call it the "Treehouse Experience" because you feel like your in the trees with a beautiful heavily forested backyard and dramatic drops in elevation. The approximately 1,000 very private square feet layout is all yours and includes a well-appointed kitchen, large living room/den, romantic king bed master bedroom with comfortable bathroom, and a huge deck. Enter via your private side entrance just steps from the driveway.

A gorgeous, tall king poster bed anchors this romantic room with windows overlooking the forest. En suite bathroom featuring a rustic pallet accent well, cozy hot shower, and fully stocked with the amenities of home.

-Living Room
This large living space features sweeping views of the beautiful forested landscape. The super comfortable couch is the perfect place to curl up with your favorite book or take in a movie or game on the 50" Smart LED TV. You will have access to HD cable TV (helpful for viewing your favorite sporting events or local news), Netflix, and Amazon Prime.

A large wood table with captain s chairs is the perfect spot to enjoy a meal. Flip over the top and you have a poker table ready for any card shark.

The bookshelf is full of a variety of books to satisfy young and old.

-Private Deck with Fire Pit
Step outside onto your private deck overlooking a babbling brook, beautiful forest, and admire some "castle architecture" from afar. Please enjoy the gas fire pit, comfy chairs, and Green Egg Grill.

-Gourmet Kitchen
Granite countertops, new Samsung range/oven, double drawer Fisher/Paykel dishwasher, deep stainless sink with pull down sprayer faucet, large refrigerator, and full size washer and dryer. Well stocked with cookware, plates, utensils, mugs, glassware, and other kitchen essentials. Keurig coffee maker for your favorite hot beverage.

Easy off street parking for 1 vehicle and room for others if needed.

We can be as involved or uninvolved with you as you want :) We love meeting new people, but also understand wanting to have time to yourself when you get away. We have both lived in the area for a long time and will do everything we can to help your stay be as enjoyable as possible. Feel free to ask for any suggestions or directions during your stay.

About the Neighborhood

- Enjoy pretty walks around one of the finest neighborhoods around and take in the many charming historic homes among tree-lined streets.
- Walk down to the new Bobby Boy Bake Shop or the cool vintage Airstream trailer for some locally roasted coffee and baked goods. Keep a lookout for some of the many excellent food trucks that make appearances from time to time. And connected next door is the our new wine local shop Caviste that has a lovely selection of excellent wines.
- Hit up one of our favorite brewery bars at Joymonger’s Barrell Hall with just a short walk a half mile away.
