About this property

Argyle Apple Cottage - Karma Kinglake

Nestled on the top of the Great Dividing Range in the heart of Kinglake, Karma is a great place to unwind and relax. Set on an acre of garden with vegie patch and resident chooks, Karma Kinglake consists of 5 self contained units.

Our gorgeous, cosy, hexagonal shaped 2 Bedroom Nests located in garden setting are ideal for families, couples or friends who want the convenience of having their own space to relax and unwind.

Kinglake is home to the amazing Kinglake National Park. Just an hour from Melbourne airport and CBD close to wineries of the Yarra Valley and fabulous walking and cycling trails.

Karma Kinglake was built after the disastrous fires on Black Saturday 2009. Wherever possible recycled materials and reclaimed timbers from properties in the local area have been used. We endeavour to be as self sustaining as possible, we have rain water tanks, our own orchard and vegie patch and we treat all our waste water.

Guests are welcome to enjoy the entire property (which is just over 3 acres), we have specific rooms available for guests who require disability access and we welcome well behaved dogs.

Make yourself at home, ask us about our local native birds (feed them from your deck area) or grab some eggs from our resident chickens "the Lay Girls". We live onsite and are here if you need us and happy to help you explore.

Ideal for groups or that special occasion.

Stayed here for our daughter's wedding
This was a very special time for us as we stayed here for our daughter's wedding. We arrived on Friday 8th September during extreme weather conditions ... gale force winds, rain and biting cold!! After a hectic morning, we arrived to the peace and tranquility of Karma Kinglake, staying in Argyle Apple cottage. We found our accomodation to be spotlessly clean, spacious with everything we needed. We were so greatful to the owners who had the heater running on our arrival!! We highly recommend Argyle Apple cottage at Karma Kinglake!

Great quiet get away close to Melbourne
The place was beautiful and quiet. Surrounded by beautiful trees and native birds. The cabins ( nests) were super clean and beautifully decorated. The owners were fantastic.

Comfortable cottage, beautiful surrounding
Lovely furnished two bed room cottage surrounded by lush trees. There is a fire place which is perfect in winter and a split air conditioning system for summer. My kids enjoyed feeding and checking out the chickens. A short drive to the National Kinglake Park we had a lovely family time walking down the trail to see the Masons falls.
