Nice large home

A group of us stayed here for a bachelor party and had a nice time. The house is lovely and provided plenty of space for everyone. It was a little difficult to find blankets and pillows for all of the beds but eventually we did and all 16 guests had their own bed. The larger side of the oven also didn't work but we made do. The hot tub also wasn't working throughout our stay (besides being semi-warm the first night) which was pretty disappointing. They said they could make it hotter if we didn't heat the pool, but from that point onward both the hot tub and pool were ice cold. They were quick to respond to our messages but unfortunately the issue was never resolved and the group was pretty bummed about that. Lastly, the house is in a nice residential neighborhood and apparently the neighbors aren't happy it is being used as a rental. We had the police come out our second day because a neighbor had called - not because we were being too loud, but because they saw a group of people arriving and wanted the police to make a report that the house was being used as a short term rental. Apparently they get called every time a new group comes, because the house doesn't yet have official authorization for rental use. Overall, the house worked well for our large group and was conveniently located just a quick 20min ride-share to most things in Austin.

We had an excellent stay here and the host was very helpful. You are nice and close to downtown and the house was enjoyable when you wanted to stay in.

Lovely home close to everything!

Lovely home sitting on a hill top with a gorgeous view of the downtown skyline. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook, all soaps, cleaning supplies, luxury sheets & towels etc. We enjoyed our morning walks to Mount Bonnell and walking to Russells bakery to get muffins and coffee each morning. This location cant be beat. 8 min drive to UT, 7 mins to downtown, and so many incredible restaurants nearby. I miss Austin, and this house made me want to move back even more! Thanks Valerie.
