Everything including the host was excellent and up to expectations. The stairs up to the house are alot if you have alot of luggage but the view was worth the exercise. We were all very pleased with everything.

Overall, we had a nice stay. The cleaning could have been a little better, and unfortunately, the rain kept us from enjoying the beach. The house also rocks when it’s windy, which was definitely an experience! Be prepared for lots of stairs—it truly feels like staying in a treehouse.

The view and the close proximity to the beach are wonderful. The property however is in need of updating. The pictures on the listing make it seem larger than it feels in person. The only en-suite bathroom doesn’t have a shower and the driveway is very small with no additional parking available (this is not noted on the listing - for 9 people…). The two small bathrooms that are not en-suite are oddly on the entry floor and not on the same floor as any of the bedrooms or the kitchen / living room. Functional, but an odd layout. While we enjoyed our time at the house we wouldn’t rent it again.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. I'm so glad you enjoyed the ocean view and the easy beach access. I'm sorry the bathroom layout did not work well for your group and that parking was a concern. We are very careful to describe the layout in detail on the listing so that guests are made aware before booking. That said, we will absolutely look for ways to make the layout and parking clearer so future guests are not surprised. Thank you again for your candid comments, we will use them to improve.

My family and I loved this house! So close to the ocean, very clean, beautifully built and quiet little neighborhood! No joke on those stairs, but so worth the climb!

Be sure to read about the stairs upto house. There are 62 stairs at a steep climb. The younger guests did fine but us Seniors struggled with the climb, it kept us from going out as much as as we planned. Beds were great as was the view.

Thank you for the review and for choosing Meredith Lodging. We’re glad to hear you found the beds comfortable and you enjoyed the view. We’re sorry the stairs made getting around difficult for the seniors in your group. We've worked hard to stress on the listing that this home has many stairs, so that guests can see that before booking and can prepare accordingly for their stay, should they feel they can manage the climb. If there’s anything we could have done to earn five stars, please message us through the Vrbo app; we’d really appreciate the feedback.

It was very enjoyable with an amazing view. Only two problems, ants in the kitchen and not being able to connect to the internet. It kept kicking us off every other hour, which was VERY Annoying! Otherwise…it was very clean, easy to check into, fabulous view and so very wonderful for a girls weekend away! We all kept joking about the number of stairs but our legs thank you and the view wouldn’t have been as good! Thank you!!!

Thank you for the review and for choosing Meredith Lodging. We’re glad you enjoyed the view, the cleanliness, and that the home was a great fit overall for your girls’ weekend. We sincerely apologize about the ants and the intermittent Wi‑Fi — that’s certainly not the experience we want. Our maintenance team has since resolved both issues and are keeping a close eye on them to ensure they don't return. If there’s anything else we could have done to earn five stars, please message us through the Vrbo app; we’d really appreciate the feedback. We hope to welcome you back soon!

The house is great- once you get to it. I knew it had stairs, but couldn’t tell exactly how many. 63!!! Pack light! The house itself is great with amazing views. Beds were comfortable, lots of space that my kids and I could all be in separate rooms to wind down at the end of the day. Would stay here again but not sure my hips can handle the stairs. My kids LOVED it.
View from the upper deck.
Fun loft to play in.
Master bath has a nice tub- there are two showers in other bathrooms.

Thank you for staying with us and for the review. I’m sorry your stay didn’t earn five stars. I’m glad you enjoyed the views, the comfortable beds, and that your kids loved it. I apologize the number of stairs was more than expected — we have a note in the listing about the many stairs so that guests can know what to expect. All the same, we appreciate you also calling that out, for future renters. Please message us through the Vrbo app with any other details you’d like to share. Thank you again for the feedback.

Overall stay was great. Communication with the Rental agency was great. The place was very clean and had lots of kitchen items for cooking. Only thing if I was trying to nit pick would be the furniture in the living room wasn't the same as in the pictures. The pictures have nice looking leather couches and that is not accurate. There are now some uncomfortable couches which can fold out if you wanted to use it for lounging or sleeping on but they are not comfortable at all. Also while watching tv during the later evening it is hard as the sun hits right on the water out the big windows and causes a really big glare and there are no curtains. But other than those 2 things, the place was really nice. Oh and just make sure you bring up everything you need or you will have to go back down the long set of steps to get it.

Thank you for the 5-star review! I’m happy to hear the cleanliness, kitchen supply and our communication were highlights of your stay. That's wonderful to hear. I’m sorry to hear the furniture and evening glare detracted from your otherwise happy stay. I will have our maintenance team look into light-blocking solutions and we will get the listing photos updated promptly. Thank you so much for choosing us as your hosts and for taking the time to leave your feedback!
