This house was close to the ocean and had a beautiful view. The living area was at the top of the house and very spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were very nice. A great and relaxing stay. Also, many good restaurants nearby.

Was planning on spending alot of time on the deck but pics were a little deceiving. Could barely see the ocean to the far left and far right while standing.

Wow! Awesome view of the ocean from the living room!!! The house was large, private, and very comfortable. It was the perfect place to stay while visiting the Newport area. Hope we can return soon!

The living room and master bedroom carpet had at least 40 stains and smelled like dog urine. The kitchen had 1 dish towel and 1 dish cloth. 1/2 of the opening windows did not have screens. Mini-blinds and screens were moldy.Rain gutters had trees growing in them. Bath towels were paper thin.

The Halpern House is a very special place. There were many comforts of home and also lots of charming touches. We enjoyed the direct access to a beautiful beach. While the place is not upscale or sleek, it has a magical quality that seeps in with the many thoughtful amenities. It is like being in a treehouse with ocean views. Very quiet and private. We enjoyed our stay.Emma at Meredith properties was very responsive and helpful.

Great getaway

Property was exactly as advertised. We had no issues during our mid-June stay. We loved the close and easy beach access and that there were sand toys in the garage. Will book here again!

Charming house with great ocean views.

We loved our short stay at this property. The home was charming and very comfortable. The ocean views from the deck were amazing. Only regret is that we did not stay longer. We will definitely plan to stay there on our next trip.

A home away from home
