Snowmass Vacations - Willows B5

This contemporary meets mountain studio includes a queen bed and twin bunks plus kitchenette. The studio is thoughtfully decorated and designed for the travelers looking to spend more time skiing, hiking and mountain biking. The cozy dining area is the perfect spot for two or a close family of four. This condo even has a washer and dryer!! A common area pool and hot tub can be found only steps away and access to the Mall and Base Village are just a short walk. This is the perfect little retreat in the mountains.

SKI SEASON: Parking passes are required for all Aspenwood, Terracehouse, and Willows condos and guests will need to go to the Parking Office to obtain permit. Snowmass Vacations will not be held responsible for any parking citations issued to guests.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Please be advised that the entire building adjacent to the property has been torn down. It is anticipated that reconstruction will start April 2026. The noise levels will be elevated, especially during the summer months, due to ongoing construction activities. We appreciate your understanding and patience as this necessary construction takes place.

I was in Aspen for work, this condo was comfortable and quiet. It was nice having Heathers next store for food and Fuel up the road for coffee. Parking was easy and close/

The location was ideal, just about 20 steps to ski in/out to the village. The portal information could have been clearer; some features were missing when they should have been available. I contacted the property manager to request early check-in, arriving 1.5 hours before the scheduled time. She said she would check with the cleaners and get back to me via text or call me back. She didn’t follow up as promised. After 30 minutes, I called again, but no one answered, so I left a voicemail. I tried calling several more times without success. I started to worry, thinking I might have been scammed by VRBO. After multiple calls, the woman explained she was attending a conference, which caused the delay. It's unfair to leave guests waiting in the parking lot for an hour without updates about early check-in. It would have been helpful to receive check-out procedures, as the manual didn't provide details. I had to email the property manager about this on the day I checked out. Additionally, this property lacks a dishwasher, a small pot w lid, and the mini fridge is loud, especially at night. The studio could benefit from a larger closet for guests and less owner's closet space.

Snowmass stay

Nice location, but the unit needs some tender loving care. Kitchen counters need to be redone, sliding glass door does not shut, Tp holder is broken. Better winter rental. We rented in July and no air conditioning and a bit uncomfortable. Overall good but a bit pricey for what is delivered.

Nice Spot Overall - A few dated amenities

Just had a nice visit to Snowmass with my two daughters. I like the layout of this studio overall. It's thoughtful and the design feels homey and nice. The check-in process and everything was all great. The location for skiing access is also pretty good -- about a 400-500 ft walk and you are on Fanny Hill and to the Village Express. A few smallish issues to note if you plan to stay here: * The TV/AV is dated. There is no way to take advantage of your streaming services and the TV is older. An AppleTV or Roku would have been nice so my kids could have watched their shows * The hot tub is far enough away to be basically inaccessible. It is about a 500 ft walk up and down multiple stairs to get to a hot tub at a neighboring apartment complex so the icy walk back was simply not an option for my small children. Hot tubbing is one of my favorite things after a day of skiing so this was a bummer * The place is overall nice but some of the amenities are aging and/or dirty. The kitchen top is rusty (not rustic) which got on dishes, rags, etc. and wasn't my favorite thing. The toilet paper hanger is loose and the floor mats in the bathroom were old and mildewy. Overall a decent place for the price.

Nice property approximately 100 yard walk from Fanny Hill / Village Express lift. Buses to Aspen, Snowmass and the other ski areas stop just outside the building. We'd stay here again! 2 notes about the VRBO description: 1) winter parking is charged at $15 per night 2) the unit does not have a dishwasher
