Alicante Holiday Rental

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the location of this property and enjoyed our stay. We have a small dog and it was perfect for her too. Secure yard and an easy care property, very basic but had everything we required. We felt this property could have been more thoroughly cleaned for our stay but understand it may be difficult to get good cleaners on North Stradbroke.

Loved this property. Sunshine kept this bungalow warm into the cold winters night. Doggo loved the grassy yard. A bonus seeing was the ocean glimpses and whale spouts. Had everything we needed and a great hot shower.

A great escape

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the house, location and view of the ocean. Everything was well accounted for and the kitchen plentiful. The only negative was the gate doesn't latch (swings open in wind) and with a dog and children this was a bit challenging. Other than that, had a fantastic stay and would absolutely stay again without hesitation

What can I say....for our family of 3 and a furbaby, it was exactly what we needed! The yard was just the right size, well fenced and a very quiet location only a 500 metre walk to the local supermarket and a great little take away store if your feeling a little lazy to cook. The house is on an elevated block to catch all those lovely sea breezes. The rooms and amenities were lovely and clean. Kitchen is a good size and modern. If you are wanting the best and freshest prawns on the island caught by a local fisher, go and see Carl at 38 Bigoon Rd, just a 3 min drive from the house as the crow flies. Beach access is close by with plenty of walking tracks.

Alicante, Point Lookout

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Alicante is a simple, nicely maintained beach house. The kitchen was well-equipped, the furniture was right for a beach house, and it had a generally pleasant feel. The price for five nights was quite steep as part of the stay fell into a school holiday period. But because the owners had equipped the house well, there wasn't a feeling of being ripped off, which happens sometimes in beach houses where the owners provide the bare minimum of bad quality items but still charge ridiculous prices.

A Hidden Treasure

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: WOW!! We were not sure what lay beyond the wooden door. When we opened it, OMG how beautiful it was. The home was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was befitting a chef. The bedrooms were very comfortable, we knew it would be lovely, but it was wonderful. The home was very close to beaches and shops, and we really felt at home. Our little poodle loved running on the lush green grass. We are singing its praises to our friends, if we come again, we will definitely want to stay there again. thank you so much, we had a fantastic time. Maureen Harris

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The rooms were light and bright. The beds were comfy The kitchen was well equiped (including a Nespresso machine). And we were surprised to discover the property offered ocean glimpses. We even spotted the odd whale. The fully fenced yard was well maintained and offered plenty of space for our doggo to run round. The location is terrific - an easy walk to Cylinder Beach, The Beach Hotel and local supermarket.

Great location, tired house

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have stayed at this house many times. It’s in an awesome spot and great for the dogs. However on this occasion there were a few issues. It needs some attention paid not just money in but also money out. The grass was super long when we arrived which was a Saturday so I had to wait till Monday to request a mow and spent the whole weekend picking grass seeds out of my dogs fur. The fridge is old (and door hinged wrong way -could be swapped) and didn’t keep temperature for all the food we had so we had to throw away quite a bit. Then the septic drain backed up which was cleared after a few calls to the office and a day of waiting but the terrible smelll persisted along the kitchen / laundry / twin bed side of the house so we had to keep those windows shut = no breeze.

Quaint & quiet getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. A couple of rugs would give the concrete flooring a softer, homelier feel but it's hard to fault this economical little gem.
