Amazing location

Had a fantastic stay at this property. Was just about large enough for 6 people with all the facilities you need. The biggest surprise was the location which is absolutely beautiful. Very nice hosts as well.

Awesome stay!

What a fantastic property! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at ‘De Duif’, a great home, well equipped and in the midst of amazing nature! We loved travelling up the canal and to the lake in the rowing boat and also enjoyed day trips to Amsterdam and Utrecht! We would love to come back! More Brits should visit here! :) Thank you for a great stay!

An unpleasant end

We travelled as a couple with our one-year-old son. The accommodation is right on the water in a very quiet and scenic area. The hosts gave us a friendly welcome and were helpful. Unfortunately, you can't get close to the accommodation by car and there is only a path made of wood shavings to get there. For people with heavy luggage or disabilities, this information may be helpful in advance. Overall, the accommodation could be renovated or repaired in some places. For example, the floor is broken and torn up in many places. There was also some mould in the shower. Regardless of the things we criticised, we liked the accommodation. It was tastefully furnished and many everyday items were already available. The only thing that irritated me was that we had to pay extra for the bed linen. Unfortunately, after a few days, both our son and a short time later we got bite marks and a rash, which strongly indicated that there were bed bugs in the accommodation, so we left a day early. Compensation was refused. Due to the last mentioned points, I can only recommend the accommodation with some reservations.

Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, bei Ankunft wurden wir mit offenen armen sehr herzlich begrüßt. Specki das Hof Schwein wurde uns direkt mit vorgestellt. Die Kinder waren begeistert von diesem Schwein, was täglich mehrfach besucht, gefüttert und gebürstet wurde. Es war alles 1 zu 1 wie in der Beschreibung und auf den Fotos. Das Haus ist super eingerichtet/ausgestattet, es hat wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Man konnte bei Anreise mit dem Auto bis ans Haus ran fahren um auszuladen. Utrecht und Umgebung waren sehr gut mit dem Autor zu erreichen. Es gab viele Aktivitäten in der Umgebung, für Groß und Klein. Wir haben zwischen durch von den Gastgebern Ausflugs/Restaurant tipps bekommen, danke dafür! ) Im See konnte man super Angeln, die Fische, hauptsächlich Brasse und Rot Auge haben sehr gut gebissen.Es ist ein wunderschöner und rugiger Platz.Alles in allen haben wir die Woche hier sehr genossen und haben uns schon überlegt wann wir wieder kommen.Wir bedanken uns nochmals bei den Gastgebern für die Gastfreundlichkeit. Netter Empfang mit frischen Blumen aus dem Garten und einer Flasche Wein. Wir haben die Woche auch Dank des zum Haus gehörenden Ruderbootes sehr genossen. Der Ausblick aus dem Fenster und die Beobachtung der Enten, Reiher und Schwäne war einzigartig. Die Kommunikation war auf deutsch und problemlos. Sehr zu empfehlen für all die, die mal runterkommen möchten.

Es war ein herzlicher Empfang mit einem großen Blumenstrauß und einer Flasche Wein. Gys hat uns in sehr gutem Deutsch über das Haus ,seine Geschichte und über den Ort informiert. Die Schafe und das Hausschwein sind eine Attraktion. Selbst wenn es regnet kann man geschützt draußen sitzen und Vögel beobachten. Nur Google Maps führte uns nicht mit dem Auto die letzten Meter zum Ziel. Da muss man einfach durch den Ort fahren, dann klappt es . Ein schöner Urlaub bei jedem Wetter in ruhiger Umgebung. Danke Gys

Es war eine wunderbare Woche in diesem sehr schönen Domizil in ebenso schönen Gegend. Het was erg fijn. Het huisje is erg knus en het is een droom om na het ontbijt zo het water in te springen. Je kunt ook de boot, kano of sup nemen, alles inbegrepen. De streek is ook erg mooi en de kinderen vonden de dagelijkse bezoekjes van de eenden geweldig. En niet te vergeten: de vriendelijke gastheren.

Natur und Ruhe pur!

Ying Yi und Gijs sind sehr nette und sympathische Gastgeber, die ihren Gästen mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stehen. Wir haben uns von der Ankunft bis zur Abreise sehr wohl gefühlt. Ein Blumenstrauß und der Wein auf dem Tisch haben uns das Gefühl gegeben herzlich willkommen zu sein. De Duif liegt wie beschrieben. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse und vom Küchentisch ist fantastisch. Ideal für Angler. Mit der Bahn erreicht man ganz entspannt Amsterdamm, Utrecht usw. Diese Städte sind ein Besuch wert. .

Sehr schön gelegenes Ferienhaus

wir können dieses Haus nur empfehlen. Sehr netter Vermieter. Eine tolle Umgebung zum Radeln und wandern. Mit dem Zug ist man in einer halben Stunde in Amsterdam oder Utrecht.

Ein Traum am See

Wir, zwei Erwachsene und zwei Kinder von 11 und 14 Jahren, hatten eine tolle Woche. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet und perfekt gelegen. Es gibt viel zu entdecken in der Umgebung, genauso schön ist aber auch einfach ein Tag am See. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Herrlich erholsam und unglaublich schön

Wir waren mit 5 Erwachsenen für eine Woche in De Duif. Gijs und Ying Yi sind sehr hilfsbereit und sympathisch. Wir haben den Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen genossen. Die Lage direkt am See ist einzigartig und die Ruhe absolut erholsam. Allein der Blick über das Wasser ist atemberaubend schön. Ruderboot, Kanu und SUP haben wir auch mit Freude genutzt und die Gegend zu Fuß, mit Rad und Auto erkundet. Wer morgens frische Brötchen im Ort holen möchte, ist mit einem Fahrrad gut beraten, ansonsten ist es ein Fußmarsch von ca. 5 km. Wir würden De Duif 100%ig weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder zurück.

Maison de vacances très agréable

Excellent accueil. Gijs et YingYi sont très sympathiques. La maison est lumineuse, propre, calme et bien chauffée (avril 2024). Il ne manque aucun équipement. Il y a toute la vaisselle pour des vacances et l'électroménager. La vue sur la nature est magnifique. Nous espérons revenir une autre fois en été.
