Superb accommodation in a dream location. So good that we spent the first two days on the beach 5 metres in front of the house! Very well equipped apartment with many restaurants, boulangerie, and ice cream shop only one or two minutes walk away. Also location is great for exploring the coast and inland. Laurent is a great host, very communicative. 5 stars. Would highly rate both Laurent and the apartment.

We had a wonderful stay in Algajola. The location of the accommodation is simply superb, close to all amenities (bakery, shops, train station, restaurants…) as well as, of course, the beach.When we were not in the water, enjoying the fantastic swimming and snorkelling, we were still able to enjoy being close to the sea, with amazing views from the wonderful terrace and balcony. The interior of the property had heaps of character, with all amenities needed.Laurent’s tips and advice what to do nearby were really appreciated and we greatly enjoyed both the hill villages and the peaceful and refreshing La Flata river.From the moment I found the property, and my initial interactions with Laurent, I had the feeling I was in for something special - which turned out to be absolutely right!We truly hope to return - many thanks Laurent!

Lovely village of Algajola and a perfect location right above the sea. We loved the 2 decks to watch and listen to the waves day and all through the night. Lots of space for 5 adults. Proximity to one of the nicest beaches we’ve been and the warm clear water- amazing. Many restaurants within 5 min walk and easy access to roads to other towns. We had an amazing stay! Laurent was available and helpful, communication was fantastic!

Fantastic Holiday: calm beautiful and just above the sea

Thank you for letting us stay at your place Laurent. Our holiday was really great. The house is beautiful, the exclusive location above the small beach was great for the kids and for my older parent. We enjoyed everything the balcony in the evening, the big terrace for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the very nice decorated house. We ll certainly come again soon.... regards. P.

We can’t say enough good things about our stay at Laurent’s property. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how absolutely spotless the place was - honestly, cleaner than our own home!The location is absolutely perfect. It is completely walkable to everything you could need: the beach, beachfront restaurants, gelato, a bakery, a grocery store, the historic castle, and the train station. Having bike shops and beach rentals (stand-up paddleboards, kiteboarding, etc.) just steps away was incredibly convenient.The property itself offered ample space for our family of four to spread out. Having two full bathrooms was a major plus; the outdoor one is fully private and perfect for rinsing off sand after a day by the water. Other huge bonuses included a dedicated off-street parking spot, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. We loved having dinner on the terrace, enjoying an apéritif on the balcony, and falling asleep to the sound of the waves.Laurent was an exceptional host, even offering a Zoom call before our stay to orient us to the area and provide fantastic recommendations for dining and activities. This is a truly special place to relax with family and embrace an authentic, uncrowded (even in late June), non-touristy beach culture. We already can’t wait to come back!

On a vraiment bien apprécié le logement et son super emplacement à Algajola. Le logement est charmant et authentique, et conforme aux photos.Nos enfants ont adoré faire du snorkeling sur la plage, qui est juste devant la maison, pendant que les adultes les surveillaient depuis la terrasse en sirotant un petit verre (ou deux ). D'ailleurs, c'est un bon endroit pour le snorkeling.L'appartement est à deux pas des restaurants, de quelques boutiques, d'une boulangerie et d'un Supermarché Util — le tout accessible à pied, ce qui rend le quotidien très pratique. Il y a même une gare à deux pas qui permet de visiter les villes voisines sans se soucier de trouver une place pour se garer (malheureusement, nous ne l'avons pas testée, mais la ligne ferroviaire empruntée par le train a l'air superbe).Laurent était un très bon hôte : bonne communication, et il fait tout pour que le séjour se passe bien.Nous recommandons vivement !

Die Lage der Wohnung in unserem Lieblingsort Algajola ist einzigartig! Die Nähe zum Meer und zu den Restaurants sowie die Blicke aus der Wohnung auf das Meer sind toll! Besonders toll fand ich den Ausblick von der Außendusche auf das Meer und das Einschlafen mit dem Meeresrauschen!Der Kontakt zum Vermieter und die Hilfsbereitschaft könnte nicht besser sein! Nach einem Defekt an der Waschmaschine hat er sofort für Ersatz gesorgt und eine neue Maschine zur Verfügung gestellt! Außerdem gibt es mehrere Sonnenschirme, die man mit an den Strand nehmen konnte.Die riesengroße Terrasse und der Balkon haben uns auch sehr gut gefallen. Unsere nächsten Urlaube in Algajola würden wir auf jeden Fall sehr gerne wieder in Laurents Wohnung verbringen.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in dieser traumhaften kleinen Wohnung. Der Blick auf das Meer ist einfach grandios – mit dem Rauschen der Wellen einzuschlafen und morgens mit diesem Ausblick aufzuwachen, war für uns pure Erholung. Besonders das Frühstück mit Blick über das Meer bleibt unvergesslich.Der Strand und die Felsen direkt vor der Haustür laden zu einer kleinen Schnorcheltour ein und waren für uns die perfekte Gelegenheit für eine erfrischende kurze Abkühlung im Meer, vorallem nach einer Wanderung. Auch Bäcker und Supermarkt sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar.Laurent war jederzeit sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und bei Fragen schnell erreichbar.Vielen Dank für diese wunderschöne Zeit – wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder!

Comme sur un bateau, mais sans le mal de mer. L'appartement est idéalement situé à Algajola, les commerces et restaurants sont à proximité, la gare de la micheline à quelques pas permet de se déplacer facilement sans forcément avoir recours à la voiture. La plage d'Aregno est à quelques pas. Même si ce n'était pas notre objectif, on pourrait envisager un séjour sans véhicule. Mais nous avions notre voiture et Il est possible de se garer juste devant l'appartement, ce qui est apréciable dans ce secteur. L'appartement est tellement agréable qu'on se laisserait aller à ne pas bouger. Mais ce serait dommage tant la Balagne est une région riche en points d'intérêts. nous avons réellement passer un excellent séjour.

Wir waren Anfang September zwei Wochen in der Wohnung und haben dort einen wunderschönen Urlaub verbracht. Die Wohnung ist perfekt gelegen, hat Charme und man hat einen sensationellen Blick auf das Meer. Wir waren zu zweit und hatten viel Platz, die Wohnung kann auch gut mit vier bis maximal sechs Personen genutzt werden, das hängt natürlich von den jeweiligen Ansprüchen ab. Auf der dem Meer zugewandte Seite gibt es unter dem Balkon eine kleine Promenade und dann direkt einen Zugang zum Meer. Wir sind dort öfter mal geschnorchelt. Der eigentliche Sandstrand von Algajola ist in ein paar Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Auf der den Bergen zugewandten Seite ist direkt vor dem Hauseingang ein Stellplatz fürs Auto. Dort gibt es die Dorfstraße, auf der aber kein Durchgangsverkehr stattfindet und dahinter fährt die kleine Bahn, die I’lle Rousse mit Calvi verbindet. Mit dieser Bahn kann man auch sehr bequem andere Strände erreichen, allerdings war sie bei uns meistens überfüllt und das war nicht in der Hauptsaison. Trotz der Bahn (die nur tagsüber fährt) und der Dorfstraße ist die Wohnung sehr ruhig, das lauteste waren die Wellen, aber deswegen ist man ja auch am Meer. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet, wir haben nichts vermisst. Und zu guter Letzt, Laurent der Gastgeber ist superfreundlich, hat uns gute Tipps gegeben und wäre immer erreichbar gewesen, wenn wir etwas gebraucht hätten. Alles in Allem können wir die Wohnung absolut weiterempfehlen!

Die Wohnung von Laurent ist wirklich eine Oase der Erholung. Wir haben insbesondere den Meerblick von dem Balkon genossen. Es war eine heiße Woche, doch dank der vorhandenen Lüfter in den Schlafzimmern und der vielen Fenster war es auch ohne Klimaanlage gut auszuhalten. Es ist alles fußläufig zu erreichen: gute Restaurants, Obst- und Feinkostladen direkt unterhalb des Hauses, eine Bucht zum Schnorcheln, Boulangerie. Die Tipps von Laurent waren ebenfalls eine Bereicherung. Alles in allem eine tolle Woche - wir kommen wieder!

Eine wunderschöne Ferienwohnung direkt überm Meer

Die Wohnung direkt über dem Meer in dem denkmalgeschützten Haus ist stimmig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und uns gefreut über die schönen alten Gemälde in allen Zimmern, die antiken Möbelstücke, das Licht, die einmaligen Ausblicke auf das Meer und das Meeresrauschen. Die charmante Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet mit Geschirr, Besteck und Pfannen und Töpfen. Kleine Bäckerei und Supermärkte in der Nähe. Wir vermissen schon den morgendlichem Blick aus dem Schlafzimmer, der Weitblick über die Bucht beim Frühstück, den Apéro auf der großzügigen Terrasse, den glitzernden Mond über dem Wasser in der Nacht. Wir kommen sehr gerne mal wieder in diese wirklich ganz besonders schöne Wohnung. Dank an Laurent für die Tipps, unkomplizierte Kommunikation und die schnelle Erreichbarkeit.

So schön ist also die "Île de Beauté"!

Es gibt ja Empfehlungen, die man gar nicht geben möchte. Weil's einfach so schön war... Diese Wohnung ist so eine. Es ist nicht nur ein Haus am Meer. Es ist irgendwie ein Haus über dem Meer - in einer kleinen Bucht, die aus der Zeit gefallen scheint. Die Tage hier, sie sind wie in den Filmen von Eric Rohmer oder François Ozon. Sommerleicht. Danke, Laurent, für die gute Vorbereitung und Einstimmung und für die tollen Tipps und für die Erreichbarkeit während unseres Aufenthalts. Die Wohnung hat alles, was man braucht. Klar, das denkmalgeschützte Haus ist kein Neubau, aber das macht ja auch den Charme aus. Unvergesslich: Balkon und Terrasse; und natürlich der morgendlich Spaziergang zur kleinen Bäckerei in der Nähe. Wenn's irgend geht: Wir kommen wieder. Wenn für uns dann noch Platz ist...

Fantastique et familiale

Un appartement spacieuse et très bien décorée à deux pas de la plage et des restaurants, du boulanger et de l’épicerie. On a eu des jours inoubliables !

Paradise

C’est la seconde fois que je loue ici. Le propriétaire est charmant et a été très flexible sur les heures d’arrivée et de sortie. Mes amies ont adoré l’ambiance et la deco « maison de vacances ». J’espère revenir bientôt!

Balkon auf das Meer

Fantastischer Ausblick. Bäcker, Spar und Restaurants nur einen Schritt entfernt. Auch praktisch ist der Zug nach Ile Rousse und Calvi. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und gibt viel Tipps.
