• this is a romantic and charming little apartment located at la ropa beach in the beautiful zihuatanejo bay, an ideal option to enjoy a wonderful and relaxing time.

• it is located in the condominium complex villa del sol in agreement with the exclusive five stars premises Thompson hotel.

• you can enjoy a piece of paradise made of white sand and bathed by a peaceful sea. This is one of the few condominiums situated on the beach side, you just have to walk down the romantic palm tree path to the beach with no need to get out the property or cross the highway.

• the condominium is surrounded by 15,000m2 of attractive tropical gardens, and great swimming pools. If you need a relaxing moment you can try the beautiful infinity pool with an astonish view, but if you prefer some more action you can prove the semi-olympic swimming pool.

• the condominium has a double bedroom (queen size bed), with bathroom and closet. In addition, there is a living room, full kitchen, and a very private terrace with a dining table, hammock and deckchairs.

• there are housekeeper, cook and baby sitter available, but not included.

• the condominium has one private parking space, english speaking staff, elevator, air conditioning, and 24-hour security. Small pets are welcome.

Place was very nice and clean. A great location on the beach. If I had one negative thing to say it would be that it would’ve been nice to have laundry in the room.The grounds in the pools were all beautiful. Check in and out was super easy.

Private sanctuary

Although this apartment is located in a larger facility, it is tucked in at the side and very private. There is wonderful outdoor space, maid service, and everything you need for cooking. We would definitely stay again!

Quaint and Convenient

We found the place very quaint in a beautiful location. The green space next door was full of different birds to discover and listen too and having access to 3 different pools as well as the beach was awesome. Playa de Ropa is the best beach we've been too. The room was nice and clean with great staff.

We loved it!

This lovely little condo had everything we were looking for. It was was perfect for the two of us--clean, quiet, private and with a fully operating kitchen very functional. The view was mostly into the gardens, but we could hear the waves splashing up on the shore and the birdsong in the morning was wonderful.

Great stay in La Ropa beach

We had a fabulous stay at this condo. Naomi’s unit is a wonderful studio in the Villa del sol. We loved the layout, the gardens and pools and access to the beautiful beach at La Ropa. Lupita, the local contact, was welcoming and dealt with all our needs. There are good restaurants close by and a new pickleball facility within a 10 min walk . We will definitely be back!

The grounds are well maintained any problems were corrected immediately. My only problem is lack of towels and a little spectic smell while sitting on the terrace other wise it is secluded and the pool is right there and the beach is in a great location

The condo was perfect for 2, and a very short walk to Playa La Ropa beach. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. We enjoyed the quiet pool, we actually had it to ourselves! The weather was amazing. The owner is very attentive to your requirements we enjoyed our stay very much. We ate at the Italian restaurant just down the block which was amazing I've never had ravioli that fresh in Canada! The condo had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. Thanks again 😊

La Playa Ropa

The bed was a little more firm than I could handle, and I was felt a little misled about the proximity to the beach, but we were overall satisfied with our stay. The price was right and the nights were quiet. Clean room, cool, air, bottled water included. A grill would be nice, just because I like to grill, but I didn’t except one.

Why Zihuatanejo:
My family and I have come to Zihuatanejo since the 70´s because it is our favorite Mexican beach (and we know almost all the tourist beaches in this country). We love "Playa La Ropa" because of its calm sea, its fine sand, the all year incredible weather, the warm seawater, and the beautiful Zihuatanejo bay. Besides it is very nice to have a walk by the afternoon in the fisherman’s downtown, with their friendly and smiling people.

What makes this property unique

The department is a quiet little romantic place where you can be relaxed undisturbed enjoying the benefits of a tropical paradise. Its location makes it a very quiet place and there is no eye contact with neighboring departments. A few steps away there is a pool that has a magnificent view of the bay. It is one of the few private places in the zihuatanejo bay that has direct access to the beach so you don’t have to get out the property or cross any street to feel the sand on your feet. Facilities include an infinity swimming pool that offers a great view of the bay with astonish sunsets. You can enjoy the benefits of the five star viceroy hotel and let them pamper you.
