Clean and spacious home stocked with everything to make our stay comfortable. The pool was amazing and we spent a lot of time there. We had a great week there.
As with everywhere in Captiva, the house shows some minor exterior aesthetic impacts from the hurricanes. However, the inside is well maintained and the island is still a great getaway. The management company is available, responsive, and very helpful.
Went to Sanibel/Captiva for 6 days. The house was very nice. It's big and there was more than enough space for 6 of us. Check in and check out was easy. There is still damage from the last hurricane, but it was good to see all the rebuilding on the islands.
The Pink House is charming and in a very good location on Captiva Island. We enjoyed having access to the dock, kayak, & paddleboard on the Intercoastal waterway. The pool is clean and a good spot to cool off after fishing. The house is spacious and can accommodate a large family. All of the rooms are adequately sized and have excellent closets for storage. There were a few minor issues with some of the lights and construction in the back of the house during our stay. Overall, we liked the property and enjoyed our time on the island as the beaches & fishing opportunities are amazing.
We spent a week in the Pink House on Captiva, and absolutely loved it. The accommodations are top notch and spacious, and the location provides great proximity to beaches and restaurants. Highly recommend the recreation package (bikes, beach chairs, paddle boards, and kayaks). Thanks for a great stay!

So happy to hear you enjoyed your stay with us, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future!
We booked this property as a bucket list stay to celebrate three milestone birthdays. The location was great and property was nice. We had a great stay and was very comfortable. Pool was amazing! Thank you!
The property is spacious and nice but still a little damaged from the hurricane. The back patio is still under construction and the balcony off the master is gone with the doors sealed shut. A screened are outside would be a nice addition as the mosquitos were atrocious in the morning and evening. The worst part about the property is a lack of private beach access and the public beach being 3/4 of a mile walk. The house is clean, pretty quiet, and relatively well maintained and Captiva is a great location.

Beautiful house and spot on Captiva
The house was beautiful and spacious and had everything we needed for cooking in. Great restaurants are within 3 miles but a car is necessary (roads do not have sidewalks).

Hi Kathleen,
Thank you for your review! I am so glad that you enjoyed your stay!
Was there anything we could have done to get that extra star rating?
We loved this house! It was so cute and we enjoyed the pool, paddle boards, fishing from the dock, and especially shelling at Blind Pass Beach. It was nice to have all our needs taken care of at this house. Also loved having the big table for family game nights. We would definitely choose this home again.
My family vacationed here for my mother-in-laws 80th birthday, and the property did not disappoint. Clean, spacious and lovley...the 8 of us were able to spread out and have fun together and get some alone time too. Spent lots of time in the pool! Great location, easy drive to all the sweet places in Captiva and Sanibel. Highly recommended.
Great location. Tropical setting. Great pool area. Large living space. Great escape away. House could use a deep cleaning.

Great for family vacation
My family stayed at the Pink House for 11 days in July 2018. What an amazing place. Plenty of room for the 8 of us. House was in generally good condition. There was a really nice gift basket waiting for us when we arrived. The air conditioning in the house was great -- we needed it when every day in July was in the 90's and heavy humidity.
The kids really enjoyed the pool and the dock, including the paddleboards and kayaks. Lots of fishing from the dock too. Location overall was really nice.
Dall, who takes care of the house, really helped us out. She hooked us up with a charter fishing company and some other local connections. Thank you.

Perfect Family Vacation House
The Pink House was so much fun. Perfect for our group of 10 - 4 of them kids. There was plenty of room, numerous porches to use and outsides space so you didn't feel on top of each other. The pool was great and most days were spent out there. The recreation package was well worth it to purchase to have kayaks and paddleboards for the back channel area and the bikes to go exploring with. We saw dolphins, manatee & Sting Rays just off our back dock! Beach access was not convenient as we are used to, but we didn't miss it because of the pool. 2 of the 3 bedrooms do not have TV's in them, not a big deal, but I like to lay in bed and watch TV in the morning. :-) . The property manager was so sweet and accommodating. Even brought over her own blankets when we didn't have enough. There were a few small suggestions I will would give her about the house, like the oven light was burned out, or a faucet not working, etc. but nothing major that I would not come back.
Overall a great stay, we would go again!!

Wonderful house. You will not be disappointed!
We loved this house, and we would stay there again if we come back to Captiva. It had everything a vacationing group could ever need. My husband and I had 4 teenage girls with us, and there was plenty of comfortable space for everyone. The furniture was new, comfortable, clean and sturdy. This was also the best stocked house we have ever stayed in. There was nothing we needed, down to a sewing kit that came in handy when someone's clothes ripped. The house felt luxurious without being stuffy or inappropriate for a beach vacation. We brought a boat and having a private dock was wonderful. We spent every single day out on the water. The garage stocked with bikes, kayaks and paddleboards was also a nice touch. The booking process was great too, very easy. This house is top-notch.
Suggestions: (1) the mosquitos were horrible when we were there in June. You could not sit on the dock or by the BBQ grill without being eaten alive, no matter the time of day. If you have not sprayed lately, you may want to consider doing it often. (2) We arrived just after 5 p.m. on a Saturday. Unfortunately, the only boat ramp on the island (Tween Waters hotel) closed at 5 p.m., and we were not aware that that would be the case. They were very unfriendly and unhelpful about letting us put the boat in the water although it was just after 5 p.m.. We had just driven 10 1/2 hours and were dead tired and just wanted to get the boat in the water and moved to the house's dock. Moreover, the driveway at the house was not large enough to accommodate our truck with boat/trailer attached, and we had no idea where to go or what to do. It is very hard to maneuver the 2 lane narrow road on Captiva with a big truck and boat and trailer, especially if you do not know your way around. We called the local contact person for the house (Dall), and she made some suggestions, but it didn't really solve our issues. You may want to ask future guests if they are bringing a boat and give them some suggestions about where and when they can launch it so they are not in the same predicament we were in.
clean but some sand in house. sand around pool hard to keep from getting in the pool. Nice pool. Electrician very nice. Took most of day on Wednesday to hang new chandelier. Texted hostess with some questions which answered promptly.
Very comfortable house with lots of space. The outdoor space is beautiful, very private. We loved the heated pool and watching the wildlife from the dock. Turner Beach is easy to walk to, and there are a few restaurants close by. Unfortunately, there was construction next door that created constant noise but can't do much about that.
We had a couple of small maintenance issues but the property manager sent someone to the house who took care of everything. He was very helpful!
Beautiful property! We enjoyed the pool, dock, and proximity to Turner beach. There were quite a number of small maintenance
issues that occurred but the property manager responded very quickly. They were awesome in that they allowed us to stay an extra night when our flight was delayed. There is construction next to and across the street from the house which was caused some bothersome noise. Would have appreciated a heads up on this prior to booking/check in. We still would have booked.
Pink House is a beautiful home, with plenty of room for our party of seven adults, one child, and one infant. We all absolutely loved the private pool, also just the right size for all of us. Unfortunately, during our entire stay a pile driver was in operation directly across the street, beginning at 8:00 every morning except Sunday, and running throughout the day, thankfully ending around dinner time. Not sure how long it will be going on, but this was obviously a temporary situation that kind of killed the relaxing island vibe. Nevertheless, we had a fantastic stay and made plenty of family memories.
We had a lovely time at the Pink House on Captiva. The house is located a short drive to restaurants and markets. The home was spacious, clean and well appointed. The pool and dock were also amazing. The best meal of the trip was at Green Flash. We would definitely stay here again!
We had a wonderful time staying at the Pink House. There were a couple of maintenance issues, but nothing of concern and we would recommend the residence without any hesitation.
