Great location, very close to the harbor. The best part is the fenced in yard. The property is stunning. The owner has a cute dog that got along great with mine. The adjacent bird sanctuary is beautiful as well as the pond. 10 out of 10! Would book again if I ever get up to that area again.

Debra and Jim run a beautiful family friendly cottage right outside the Plymouth downtown area. Idyllic backyard space with quaint water views and woodsy paths. They were fantastic hosts and we would stay with them again, although perhaps in one of the larger spaces upstairs because the downstairs room did become rather cramped for a family of 4.

Beautiful place

My husband and I were there for 3 nights on a little getaway and this property was beautiful. The accommodations were comfortable as well. Everything was clean and owner Debbie and her husband had dog were very nice and sweet people. I would definitely stay again and recommend this place to family. It was minutes away from the waterfront in Plymouth, plenty to do and see.

We really enjoyed our stay at Clear Pond Suite. The location was so convenient to Plymouth and Cape Cod. We especially appreciated the fenced in area where our pup could run with Bailey the owners dog. My husband enjoyed the opportunity to fish. Debbie was so helpful about area attractions.

Relaxing lake view getaway!

Our host welcomed us with local information, suggestions, and a tour of her beautifully wooded lake view property. We travel with kids so I like to look for extra activities besides just a room, and this rental had paddleboats and a beach fire pit. The space is one open studio room, but it does have a moveable divider for a little privacy from the kids. The room had everything we needed for our stay in the kitchen too and it's super close and easy to get to Plymouth and all the highways. Thank you, we had such a a great visit!

Overall the property was beautiful. Accommodations were very nice. The only down side was cleanliness, fridge on inside had to be wiped down, shower had orange mold and floors needed to be swept. Also the coffee make had some water left in it from previous guests. After only about 30 minutes of cleaning my wife and I had the place tidy

The listing is deceiving

The property is called a Cottage but its a studio basement apartment. I was unaware that I was going to be sharing the yard or property with other people. The female owner I rented from didn't communicate with me regarding the fact she was leaving a male in charge of the property .It was unsettling to meet a guy in the yard who explained the property and additional people including himself and the owners puppy who would be onsite and sharing the yard. The owners space was directly above our basement studio and they have a wall of windows overlooking the yard it was uncomfortable when we left the studio space especially if you went out at night a bright motion light turned on and It made us feel like we were being watched like fish in a bowl.The cranberry bog was beautiful and that is what saved this property. It was very cold at night and I couldn't figure out how to use the heat the first night and no instructions were left. I was able to hear the puppy running across the floor at 5am and that was also unexpected.

I found so many hair strands from different people on the sheets. I showed her the photos that I took. When I asked her if she washed everything, she admitted that she just refresh the blanket by putting it in the dryer. She did not wash the blanket. I had to leave early, as I did not feel safe as we are still in pandemic knowing several people had used the blanket before me. The pond has TOXIC ALGAE, and it is not safe for swimming , fishing or any water activities. I found out about this on the same day as I saw a hazard warning post on the next property. I had to warn the kids who just arrived as they were about to get into the water. She did not disclose this. This is the main reason why I rented this place. Among the amenities, there is a mentioned of a pool. THERE IS NO POOL! Stay at your own risk. Make sure you read the post about the pond on the next property. She has not responded to my message nor the messages left by VRBO customer service.

I love hosting in New England since I am from the Midwest and realize how beautiful it is. I love the nautical theme since it is new to me! Meeting new guests makes me feel good that I can introduce them to the little bit of heaven I have found here on earth.

Why they chose this property

‘‘Tis the season to enjoy “Edelville ,” Thomas the Train and his friends will have the Polar Express and Santa!! Also the “Plymouth Plantation “ for Thanksgiving can’t be more spectacular. Come visit us for all the fun! We have an old bog adjacent to the Pond that the conservation commission has made into a Bird Sanctuary, which is wonderful to stroll around for a peaceful and relaxing walk with your dog since we are pet friendly. Only ten minutes away from Pine Hills golf courses, with Edaville/Thomas Land, and shopping outlets not far also. There are plenty of sandy beaches along the ocean, and historical sites to keep you busy!
I love the idea that Plymouth is the home of our First Thanksgiving. Since this home was so close to the Plantation where it all took place, I am thrilled to be here!!

This is a fully private unit with its own entrance, private parking, and private deck.
Although located on a peaceful pondfront property with one additional residence on a separate level, there are no shared indoor spaces and no shared parking or decks.
