House was large and we had plenty of room. We loved the sunroom overlooking the valley and saw deer everyday. Check in was easy. Nicely decorated for the holiday.
Beautiful and peaceful....this home in the country was spotless, and offerred absolutely everything we could possibly need. Spacious, incredibly stocked kitchen......and country views for miles. Our dog was so happy to romp in the gigantic grassy property, and we all enjoyed the sunset visit from 8 deer
The house and property are beautiful and truly made for a very comfortable and cozy stay. The views are fantastic and the house was the perfect getaway space for a long weekend exploring the Finger Lakes. Jim was a wonderful host! He communicated everything we needed to know for our stay effectively and is very kind for opening his family home to travelers seeking a quiet and peaceful retreat. We enjoyed all of the unique decor and family history that can be seen throughout the home. We had a wonderful stay and hope to visit again someday!

Had a wonderful stay. Jim is very nice and accommodating. Antiques galore made it feel so homey. View was amazing!!
Beautiful scenery, gorgeous views! You don’t want to miss out on the views from the decks on this home. The home is welcoming and cozy. Plenty of room for families or friends. And fun to walk around reminiscing at some of the antiques and memborlia. Will be back next fall!
The place and accommodations were great- loved it and worked well for usOnly issue was the noise from the party in the house below usKept us up till 2 in am - not Jim's fault but was a true inconvenience for us
The place has gorgeous views of the mountainside. There are plenty of patio doors that allow for cross ventilation and help you remain cool. I wish we could’ve stayed longer.
The house is well equipped and has a great view. It is a bit dated and needs some repairs to the interior in one place or another. The 6 of us had a great stay.
Jim was a great host: very communicative and welcoming. The unit has amazing views of a beautiful valley and surrounding hills, which can be enjoyed from the decks or large sunroom. Sunrise was beautiful. Even though the property feels quite rural, it is close to the village of Watkins Glen, the state park and Seneca Lake, making it an excellent location with lots of activity options and places to eat. There are lots of interesting pieces of art, antiques and other historical knick knacks that are really fun to look at. My dog was obsessed with sitting in the sunroom and watching deer down in the field.I could have stayed a few days there, just enjoying how peaceful it was.
We visited to enjoy the Deck the Halls winery tour around Seneca Lake, which was wonderful. We brought our three dogs along, who all enjoyed playing in the snow and the space of the home. We loved the sun room and the view out those windows. A great house for a peaceful, family-friendly stay.
Kitchen was lovely to cook in and the views were incredible. Loved the area and our stay. Host was communicative and check in and out were easy. Would stay again
Laid back, homey feel with a very well equipped kitchen & plenty of space for lots more than just the 2 of us. Gorgeous views with a great location to explore the area. Would definitely stay again!
