This is a clean, spacious 770 sq. ft. one bedroom, ground floor unit with lots of amenities. The neighborhood is safe, quiet and mature. Continental breakfast included on first nights stay.

Relax and enjoy your surroundings as we are centrally located to all local attractions.

Across the street is a Wildlife Refuge with walking/ biking trail along the Oso Bay. Pet friendly trail for your 4 legged explorer. This is also a wonderful place for photography.

TAMUCC, CCNAS, and Bay Area Hospital are all within a five minute drive.
If you are visiting the University, Military, or traveling Doctor / Nurse this condo is an ideal location for you. Those locales are within a 5 min drive.

Public beaches and downtown are a short 10 min drive.

The city bus line runs on the street closest to this condo. Bus line 37 stops near condo.
The condo is set up for adults. If you are bringing a small child, please tell host. We will childproof home so nothing gets broken.
Pets are welcome, I will cover all furniture to keep hair/ dander and paw prints from getting on furniture.
$50 non refundable pet fee will be added.

Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Hand wash any pots, pans, and dishes used. Remove any items in the refrigerator that you purchased or have leftover.
Set a/c unit to 75
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Wash dishes before leaving. Do not put tampons or pads in toilet. Use waste basket. Must clean up after pet and dispose of waste. Please empty trash.
If bringing a pet, I will cover all furniture with clean sheets to prevent hair, dander and dirt from getting on furniture. $50 non refundable pet fee

I'm Michele and I grew up in the Hotel/Motel industry. I have been greeting guests since I was 6 years old along with cleaning rooms, laundry, and general maintainance. I am a first generation American of German parents. I have been happily married for 29 years to my husband Pat. He is retired Air Force and we have lived and traveled this world together. We have 3 children ranging in ages 7-28. We also have recently become grandparents to a beautiful little girl named Isabella.

Why they chose this property

The condo is located right in between Padre Island and downtown. It’s a 10 minute drive either way, which makes it a great location if you’re wanting the downtown area attractions or going out to the island for the beaches. It’s conveniently located to SPD, which allows you to get anywhere in just minutes. if you are a bird watcher or a windsurfer, you are close to some of the best birdwatching areas on the Oso Bay and also very close to windsurfing. We are conveniently located near the university. Also the Naval Air Station is just minutes away. Traveling doctors and nurses enjoy this location as well because it is a short distance from many of our hospitals.

What makes this property unique

I enjoy traveling but there are things that I don't always look forward too at the same time. Our condo was designed with the traveler like me in mind. When I travel, I want a comfortable bed to sleep in. A good nights sleep can really impact how you feel on vacation. This condo has the same mattress in it that I have in my own home. Along with the same mattress topper. I want you to have a goodnights sleep and be comfortable. Nothing is worse then an uncomfortable bed.
Next, I always seem to forget to pack something when I travel. I have emergency toiletries for my guests that include everything I have needed on vacation and forgot to pack.
My favorite feature about this condo is the fire place. I have little candles in there and when turned on they create this really relaxing atmosphere.
I have stayed in other short term rentals and found everything in the home to be very basic. I hope that when you come to visit this condo you will enjoy all the decor and little extras that are intended to make you feel like your home.
