The house was great with the most amazing view of the mountains and sunset was particularly incredible. The house is well maintained, clean and had everything we needed. The layout of the house worked great for our family especially with the downstairs play area for the grandbabies. And for anyone needing a place if attending a wedding at Serenity Ridge, it was so very close and perfect.

Great getaway

We love "Above it all". The location is perfect to the Lake Lure and Chimney Rock communities. The layout of the house is nice for two families with kids and the company is easy to work with!

The Best..

I have stayed at many properties in the area and this one is easily my favorite. In a great, gated community, just down the road from a grocery store and gas station (Ingles). Amazing mountain views from the property, and even more views around the neighborhood; taking walks there is a must. The home had everything we needed, beds were comfortable. Fun assortment of family games and the ping pong table were great. I will definitely be staying here again!

New year 2022

Overall the property was good and the house was comfortable. Our only issue was that after driving 13 hrs we arrived 30min before check in time and asked to have access to the house. We had received a text at 1pm that the house was ready and yet we were not allowed access 30 minutes before. They make a huge deal about not arriving early instead of focusing on some of the details of the property such as no laundry baskets (had to carry dirty clothes downstairs in garbage bags) and cobwebs on the walls in the basement living area. The house is very central to lake lure and all the activities of the area.

Family Get Together

Located in an easy to get to subdivision. Mostly used the cabin at night since we did day trips to Greenville SC, Hendersonville and Asheville. The reason for a 3 star rating is that the overall cleanliness of the cabin needed improvement. Some things needed to be repaired/replaced.

Wonderful cabin in the woods. Very secluded from other homes. Amazing views. One bedroom on each floor. I’d definitely stay again.

Home near Lake Lure

Beautiful, comfortable, spacious home. It is in a neighborhood setting. Homes are well set apart. There were items that needed to be replaced or fixed: a broken upper dishwasher rack, toaster oven that worked poorly/needs to be replaced, wood rot in some planks in the wood porch and stairs and a broken back door lock. We called Carolina Properties and they sent someone the evening of our arrival to fix the lock. He was wonderful. Very nice outdoor propane grill (and a charcoal grill in addition to that). We enjoyed our stay there.

Just What We Needed!

Loved the quiet neighborhood. Our entire family took walks after dinner most nights. We enjoyed the views of the mountains in the distance. It was a time to enjoy spending time with our daughter, son-in-law and two grandsons! Activities close by to suit us all! Just what these two grandparents needed!

Great cabin in great location

Cabin is in great condition- almost new and we loved the location. Close to numerous activities. Property manager sent us a list of recommended activities and restaurants. There is a grocery store close by-Ingles. Property managers are great and very responsive.

Above Expectations!

We loved our stay here! We love the community it's located in, the convenience to the lake and the store and the home was absolutely gorgeous! All of the upgraded features were very welcoming and everything was spotless. The layout of the home is perfect for multiple families! Would book again in a heartbeat!

Close to lake Lure!!

We had a great time at the property and used it primarily in the evening since it was so close to our day trips including getting to know Asheville as well as rafting and tubing.
