Relax and enjoy 180 degrees, uninterrupted views over Lake King from every room of this comfortable, renovated, 2 bedrooms, original beach cottage. Suitable for a small family or two couples with plenty of space to park your car and boat or have a family cricket match. Take a short stroll down to the lakefront at the end of the road to swim, boat, kayak or fish! The Metung town centre is a relaxing 1km stroll along Beach Road to great cafes, restaurants, the Metung Jetty and the famous Metung Pub.

Property was clean and tidy. The bed we slept in comfortable. The view's are spectacular and we had visits from wattle birds, kookaburras, rosella's and a wombat. We experienced all types of weather over the week we were there whatever the weather the views were wonderful and the experience comfortable.

Such beautiful views!

Great place to stay! Clean, well equipped kitchen, hot shower and great location. The place is older but suited us perfectly. Our dogs loved it.

Beautiful little getaway

A small, older house, but in a charming nostalgic way. Clean, basic, with a phenomenal view. A big bonus to be able to bring our dog along.

metung winter getaway with the dogs

its a simple old house but its cozy and warm with magnificent views, good hot water for shower and some nice local coffee and honey for us to enjoy when we arrived. location atop the hill and a short 3min drive into town or a nice waters edge walk for about 20 minutes. pet friendly was nice too although the yard for the dog was quite small but adequate

Excellent views. Outdoor seating crap, grass needed mowing also dog run grass needed mowing.

Clean and presentable inside. For the money spent the veiws got it over the line.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay here. The location and views were amazing and the property very comfortable. As per other reviews, the combined living/dining/kitchen is quite small. I couldn’t image it with four guests and suggest the owner turns the twin bedroom into a living room, which would make it a great stay for a couple.

Beautiful views

Very basic property with beautiful views. Not very pet friendly because the only fenced area was a very tiny area, not big enough for medium sized dogs. Very few amenities, would be lovely in Summer not so much if the weather is bad.

From the amazing views from the balcony , the well appointed red kitchen area to the comfortable beds, we truly loved our stay here. It’s a quick walk into town but the expansive views and more importantly the breathtaking sunsets from the balcony were truly amazing. The cottage had everything you need and we loved our stay here.

Everything’s been provided, the house and block are kept in immaculate condition and all there’s little left to do than enjoy. Best view review

We couldn’t have had a better view than what this house provides of beautiful Lake King. It took us a little while to adjust to how small this house is but once we did we fully appreciated the limited housework and beach vibe that came with it. Also very comfortable bedding and recliner couch. Our dogs joined us and lovely safe property except grass was very long when we arrived and with snake season this was a concern however it was cut on the 7th day we were there. We stayed 10 nights and feel recharged and ready for the year ahead.

Amazing view

Wonderful little cottage with amazing views. The balcony was secured and the large front yard was enjoyed by our little jack Russell. More than enough room to park our large boat. Comfortable master bed, good shower and laundry facilities. The kitchen has good amenities, with everything you need. The neighbour was friendly and helpful. We definitely want to come back. Great location, would not recommend accommodating more than 2 people. Living space very small yet can sleep 4 people. Bathroom was clean but needs an update. Half a roll of loo paper is not going to cut it for a 4 night stay. Beds comfy, view beautiful but back deck and furniture old.
